City Of Angels Chapter 4: What goes around, comes around.

The blood from Nick’s body trickled down the walls and onto the floor. When it reached the tiles, the blood pattern began to spread it’s self into the similar crow like figure that George saw earlier at the burning drug factory.

“Holy shit…” was all he managed to whisper out as he dropped his side arm on the ground.

His body jumped when he heard the sound of ringing coming out from Nick’s body. He slowly inched towards the bloody mess, fighting the urge to vomit. He reached deep downside of Nick’s pockets and pulled out the cell phone that still rang.

With a shaking hand and the pounding feeling of dread taking over him, he answered the phone. He was greeted by the sound of a low and bone chilling whisper.

“Looks familiar to you George?” His eye snapped to the familiar sound to the person’s whisper. He knew exactly who it was. Fear flooded his entire body as he lost total control of him self, he slumped to the ground. It wasn’t possible. There’s no logical explanation for why the voice of a dead person is on the other line.

“This time I remembered the crown. See you soon.” the voice on the other side said before the line went dead.

“Fuck…oh fuck….oh fuck…” was all he could mutter out. His attempt to keep his bile down failed as he hunched over and proceeded to empty out his entire meal. He vomited all the food that he had that day. The feeling of impeding doom was brewing inside him. As the bone hard facts were settling in. She was gunning for him.

Dana exited the phone booth from the side of the streets, leaving the receiver dangling, swinging side to side.

She began to walk down the streets, yet she couldn’t ignore the feeling of depression and sadness that was hanging from her soul like rotting flesh. A wave of sadness and despair washes over her as she leans against a brick wall of a random store.

Dana sighed heavily, as the sorrow continued to pile up on her. She felt like giving up right there and then. She really didn’t know how much more of this she could take. She slumped down to the ground, her back still against the brick wall as she pulled her knees into her chest.
