“Shane that’s great!! Wait a minute, back home… are you staying?”
“Yeah I am, New York was great, but it aint LA. It was time for me to come back home!”
“Great!! I have missed you so much and so have the girls!”
“Tina let me get my bags and catch a cab over. Are you at home?”
“Yeah I’m at the house…. but it’s not home anymore. It’s Kate’s house now.”
“What? When did you move and why?”
“It’s a long story… but I’ve met someone, and the girls and I moved in with her. We just live a few doors down.”
“You did what? When? Who is she?”
“Just get your ass over here and I’ll explain everything!”
“You bet your ass your gonna explain! I’ll be there in thirty”
“I’ll see you then”
“Bye”
“Bye”
As soon as Tina hung up with Shane she dialed Bette.
“Hi T”
“Hey baby…how’s your day going?”
“It’s good… I will be out of here in a couple of hours.”
“Good.. guess what baby.”
“What?”
“Shane is back in town.”
“Your friend you have been playing phone tag with?”
“Yep.. I didn’t know she was coming home. Just called her and she was at LAX. She is actually on her way over here.”
“Good.. I know you have been missing her.”
“Babe.. would you mind if she came over for dinner tonight I want to introduce you.”
“T… you know you don’t have to ask.. It’s your house to!”
“I know babe… I just wanted to make sure you felt up to some company”
“I’m good T, but I need to go. I have a meeting about the opening of the new part of the gallery”
“Ok baby.. I love you”
“I love you more!” Bette said before she hung up the phone.
Tina paced excitedly, she couldn’t wait for Shane to get there. When the cab pulled up in front of the house Tina set out in a dead run. She collided with Shane and Shane picked her up and spun her around.

Hey TB513, Thank you for this interesting chapter. Yes, it was great to have Shane introduced into this tender tale. Sweet to have her as Tina’s friend first. My thoughts were she was Alice’s friend first then Bette and Tina’s. No worries, although Bette should have called. Doesn’t she have a hands-free set up in her car. If not then Tee needs to sort it out and sort it out soon. Now can’t wait for Bette and Shane to meet. It will either be like lost friends uniting or pistols at dawn. Please continue soon. Your Fan.

That last scene was so heart warming, it’s a great feeling when you have a significant one to come home to, someone who cares about you that much “sigh” . Thank you so much T, you are wonderful and each chapter is as good as the rest, I hope Shane and Bette will get along well. Post soon T Love
