“I have missed you so much”
“I’ve missed you to Tina!”
“Why don’t you come on down to the house, you can crack a beer and we can catch up?”
“Sound’s good to me!… Wait a minute.. Your not gonna drink a beer?”
“Umm.. No I’m not, but I’ll explain later.”
“You keep saying that. You know your killing me right.”
“Yeah I know.” Tina grabbed some of Shane’s bags and started the walk home.
“Shit you weren’t kidding were you, you literally moved three doors down.”
“Yup I sure did.”
Tina grabbed a beer and a soda and headed out to the patio, Shane following closely behind. Tina told Shane the story of her life the last few months. Shane sat taking it all in floored by the tale of love at first sight.
“So you met Bette, decided to have a baby and moved in with her in a matter of weeks?”
“Yup!” Tina said with an enormous smile taking over her face.
“Shane she is amazing, she owns a gallery, and has an amazing little boy, Colin is my main man!”
“Wooo.. wait a minute Tina, her name is Bette and she owns a gallery. Is it Bette Porter?”
“Yeah.. how did you know.”
“Tina everyone knows Bette Porter.. she was quite the party girl back in the day. She had women falling at her feet, but she wasn’t having any part of it. She was together with someone. It was pretty serious.”
“Trust me Shane I know all about Jodi. That woman is a bitch! She did a number on Bette when she up and left her with an infant because it wasn’t enough.”
“Damn.”
“Yeah. She hasn’t been with anyone since then, until we met, and Colin is six now.”
“Wow”
“Yeah I know.”
“So you guys have three kids, and one on the way?”
“Yeah we do.”
“ How do you feel about it? I mean are you Ok with her being pregnant?”
“I couldn’t be more Ok with it if I have inseminated her myself. I am so excited about having another baby.”

Hey TB513, Thank you for this interesting chapter. Yes, it was great to have Shane introduced into this tender tale. Sweet to have her as Tina’s friend first. My thoughts were she was Alice’s friend first then Bette and Tina’s. No worries, although Bette should have called. Doesn’t she have a hands-free set up in her car. If not then Tee needs to sort it out and sort it out soon. Now can’t wait for Bette and Shane to meet. It will either be like lost friends uniting or pistols at dawn. Please continue soon. Your Fan.

That last scene was so heart warming, it’s a great feeling when you have a significant one to come home to, someone who cares about you that much “sigh” . Thank you so much T, you are wonderful and each chapter is as good as the rest, I hope Shane and Bette will get along well. Post soon T Love
