“I didn’t, but Tina did.”
“Uh oh.”
“Yeah, uh oh. She freaked out a little. I got her calmed down, but it took some work.”
“Been a while since we’ve seen a shark around here.”
“Yep. I don’t know about you, but I’m fine with not seeing them.”
“I only see them from the copter, you’re the one who has to get up close and personal,” Shane teases her.
“Yeah. Me and Jaws, as Tina referred to it.”
“You putting shark repellent out around the cove for your demonstration tomorrow?”
“Of course. The last thing I need is T seeing a fin in the water.”
“Gee and here I was worried about you being in the water, not Tina watching from the beach.”
“Alright you. Thanks for the concern. I’ll put that repellent out first thing in the morning.”
Shane walks away, leaving Bette with her clipboard and list of things to do.
Jodie had been standing around the corner, eavesdropping on their conversation. Hmmm, field trip, Tina, shark repellent. Let’s see what I can do to help you out Lt. Porter. She turns and walks away, not being seen by anyone.
That night after work at Casa de Kennard-Porter …
“Baby, when we get there tomorrow are you meeting us at the gate? Or do you want me to direct the buses somewhere in particular?”
Bette kisses her on her forehead. “I’ll be waiting for you at the gate sweetheart.”
“Good. I’ll save you a seat next to me.” Tina winks at her.
“Are your parents coming in tonight?”
“No. They said they would just drive in early tomorrow. But they might stay tomorrow night. Is that ok? They can stay at my apartment if they need to.”
“Babe, it’s fine. We have plenty of room here. And your family is always welcome, you don’t have to ask. This is your house too.”
Tina wraps her arms around Bette’s neck. “I love you.” They kiss for a few minutes. When they separate Tina is giddy. “I don’t know who’s more excited about tomorrow, the kids or me.”
Bette giggles at her. “I’m glad you’re excited. I just hope you’re not disappointed.”

I most sincerely hope that the sharks find jodie and uses her for bait before she removes the shark repellant. Glad Tina’s parents are with her in case something does indeed happen and hopefully she won’t go to pieces with them there for her. Great update. Thanks for posting.
What the hell is Jodi up to, she is a pathetic waste of skin smh…and am I the only one wish I was there on the field trip too. Man!!lol
