Just The Girl – Chapter Thirty (a HYD-inspired fic)

    “Patience Kennard. We’re almost there..”

    “Why the secrecy and blindfolds?”

    “I told you, this thing’s a surprise!”

“You’re not taking me to a small, isolated shack to take advantage of me, are you?”

“No! Unless you want to though. But jeez, why are you even thinking that way?”

“Cause you’re the type of person whose brain is nestled all the way up inside their crotch.”

    “True..”

    “See?”

“But I’m also the type of person who wears her heart on her sleeves and follows it with abandon.”

    “..Can’t argue with that..”

“As opposed to a certain someone who has her heart and innermost feelings locked up inside her tight ass..”

    “What?”

    “Nothing!”

“I swear I heard you mumble something under your breath Porter!”

“I just said that we’re here already. Look.. when you hear me shout, you can remove the blindfold. Okay?”

    “Okay.”

    “Good.”

    “…”

    “Hey!”

    “What?”

    “No peeking!”

    “Tch. Fine!”

    …

    …

    …

    …

    …

    …

    “Okay! Take it off!”

Tina removed the silk scarf covering her eyes and blinked a few times. It took her a few seconds to finally take in the sight before her. There, with her arms spread out and a huge smile adorning her mocha features, stood Bette and a nicely lit, handsome-looking Ferris wheel behind her. “Oh my God..” The words rolled out of her lips before she could even stop herself.

“Nice, huh?” Bette smiled and jogged back to Tina. She had commissioned for the ride to be set up in the farthest corner of the estate, that was the reason for the semi-long travel time. You couldn’t see it from the mansion since this place was hidden from view by a hill and a couple of trees. It was the perfect spot to hide it from her father. “You promised me a ride on our first date. But we know how that day ended up..” They shared a laugh at the memory of their disastrous date. The only thing they ended up riding was a broken elevator, and that ride lasted all night. “And it seems that we just couldn’t find the time for another date in Santa Monica so..” She trailed off as she glanced at the red colored wheel.

    1. Another update -awesome. I was surprised by the Porter shaped cookies-I didn’t see that 1 coming. Very orginial & creative. Very romantic on the ferris wheel also.

    2. Alchemy, I just love this story!! Its one of those ones that literally as soon as I finish reading one chapter I’m desperate for another. You write so well and create such believable versions of all the girls. More please!!!
