Tina nodded and then she asked, “So no brrreast feeding An-geh-ica?”
“Not for a bit.”
Tina looked at the baby. “Aw righ’ fuh a bit.”
Tina looked out at the western horizon. The sky was a remarkable orange and purple, so vibrant and filled with color that it seemed more like a drawing. It seemed to mimic the best parts of the day—vibrant, remarkable, delightful. Bette looked at the colorful sky, too. She felt what Tina felt and she was reminded of one of her mother’s watercolors. The hues and shades of color in the sky, remaining separate, but blending at its edges.
Bette poured the faux wine into glasses and handed one glass to Tina. She looked at Tina, their daughter, at the lovely, but small garden, and then the setting sun as she tried to recall a quote she’d heard once. “Tina. To our family. To the two people who give my life meaning and joy. ‘Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other but in looking outward together in the same direction.’”
They clinked glasses, took a sip of their drinks, and set the glasses down. At the same time they leaned into each other and lightly kissed, then for a moment they looked out onto the horizon, squinted into the setting sun; Tina took Angelica’s tiny hand and Bette held onto Tina’s letting the love pass between them.
“Mah fami-ee,” Tina said.

7:50pm
“Melissa, it’s Helena. I’m calling Saturday night. I’ve just now thought of it and I’m hoping you remembered. Could you call Cherie Jaffe’s office as soon as possible and cancel our Tuesday lunch date? If you do this on Monday, ‘t would be short notification, but do what you can.” Helena left the voicemail message and hung up. She had noticed Cherie’s business card in her stack and remembered she had arranged for a Tuesday lunch with her. It had to be cancelled. She had plans to be part of Dylan’s interview with Documentary Magazine. She could have called Cherie Jaffe herself now, tomorrow, any time before Monday, but it wasn’t her job to place phone calls and re-schedule appointments. Melissa received a handsome salary for doing the office work.

I’m really pleased to see a new chapter so soon. Excellent plan by Shane and Carmen to get Al and Dana back together. I have a good feeling that it’ll work. Dylan and Hels, what can I say? They’re hot. I dunno how they’re going to get rid of Danny completely, but I’d think besting him would be easy, because he’s a complete idiot. Can’t the Peabody billions just hire a couple of thugs to muscle his sorry behind out of LA? Bette and Tina: Eureka! I think Porter’s got it! I cannot *wait* for Nicastro, Colley, Marcos and any other hatahs to get put in their place. And last but not least, you actually made me like Henry. Maybe it’s Christmas cheer, maybe it’s that you gave him a heart. Either way, I’m very glad you posted, great chapter, and dare I ask that you post again soon? Why yes. Yes, I do. Shane covered her mouth with her hand to keep from laughing. When she was six or seven, she thought that the words lavatory and laboratory were the same words. Her father had caught her with a glass Pyrex dish and a steak knife in the bathroom on her knees, pulling her poop out of the toilet to begin some experiments in her laboratory. She recalled that her dad threw away the baking dish. – LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Nicastro has got to GO! At least Bette got the ok from Henry to see Tina and that Bette is working on a plan. Helena and Dylan was freakin’ HOT!!!!!!!

The day seemed to end too perfect for B&T what drama do you have planned next? I just want Tina to get better and get up out of that hospital real soon. Stephanie is going to get the help she needs in jail if she keep taking that man’s money. Thank you for another wonderful chapter.
What a brilliant chapter. I’m glad that Bette didn’t end up in the slammer! I can’t believe that Whit wouldn’t have thought of the new Power of Attorney if that was plausable…I’m not seeing that as a viable option,,,get to the retreat, Bette!
