A cacophony of sound assailed her at once—music, laughter, glasses clinking, plates being stacked, and the din of a few dozen conversations taking place at the same time. She moved apprehensively into the room. She passed by every kind of freak—young guys with Mohawks were talking to a woman wearing a red leather outfit that looked like something straight out of the 1960s—hot pants and a halter top with red sequined platform boots. Two guys with baseball jerseys both with the number 69 on them and in matching Tommy Hilfiger jeans were chatting up a short, elegantly dressed man with a shaved head and wearing a white suit, white shirt, white tie, and leaning on a white walking stick. Dana’s eyes scanned this first room, seeing neither Shane nor Carmen, she walked under an archway separating the parlor from another formal sitting room except there was no furniture. She looked for her friends, but didn’t see them. Dana thought she recognized a group of well-toned, twenty-somethings from a few of the latest music videos. She was fairly sure they were professional dancers.
The first thing she noticed when she entered the third room back on that side of the house was a man who looked like he was ready to rip out someone’s heart. He was dressed in jeans and a white dress shirt and blue tie. The shirt was buttoned completely and the tie looked like it was strangling him. Maybe that was why he seemed so pissed. The man leaned against the wall, one leg bent so that the bottom of his Timberland boot was behind him, on the wall. His arms were crossed over his chest and he shot daggers across the room. Dana’s eyes moved from him, panning the room, until she landed on the subject of his apparent anger. Carmen was moving her equipment into the room with the help of four men. She looked up from her box of vinyls and glared at the man at the other end of the room. Carmen shook her head, gave him an expressive smirk, another long stare, and then went back to her work.
Dana raised her voice and said, “Carmen. Hi. I’m here.” She shrugged.
Carmen waved her over and when she got there, Carmen came around the table with the mixing board and turntables and hugged her. “Hi.”

I’m really pleased to see a new chapter so soon. Excellent plan by Shane and Carmen to get Al and Dana back together. I have a good feeling that it’ll work. Dylan and Hels, what can I say? They’re hot. I dunno how they’re going to get rid of Danny completely, but I’d think besting him would be easy, because he’s a complete idiot. Can’t the Peabody billions just hire a couple of thugs to muscle his sorry behind out of LA? Bette and Tina: Eureka! I think Porter’s got it! I cannot *wait* for Nicastro, Colley, Marcos and any other hatahs to get put in their place. And last but not least, you actually made me like Henry. Maybe it’s Christmas cheer, maybe it’s that you gave him a heart. Either way, I’m very glad you posted, great chapter, and dare I ask that you post again soon? Why yes. Yes, I do. Shane covered her mouth with her hand to keep from laughing. When she was six or seven, she thought that the words lavatory and laboratory were the same words. Her father had caught her with a glass Pyrex dish and a steak knife in the bathroom on her knees, pulling her poop out of the toilet to begin some experiments in her laboratory. She recalled that her dad threw away the baking dish. – LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Nicastro has got to GO! At least Bette got the ok from Henry to see Tina and that Bette is working on a plan. Helena and Dylan was freakin’ HOT!!!!!!!

The day seemed to end too perfect for B&T what drama do you have planned next? I just want Tina to get better and get up out of that hospital real soon. Stephanie is going to get the help she needs in jail if she keep taking that man’s money. Thank you for another wonderful chapter.
What a brilliant chapter. I’m glad that Bette didn’t end up in the slammer! I can’t believe that Whit wouldn’t have thought of the new Power of Attorney if that was plausable…I’m not seeing that as a viable option,,,get to the retreat, Bette!
