“Hey. Who’s the guy over there with the attitude?”
Carmen made the letter ‘L’ on her forehead. “So, how are you?” She stepped back and gave Dana an appraising look. She could tell she’d been crying.
“I’m okay—not.” Dana used a phrase that had found its way out of what was truly hip almost eight years earlier. It was cute and such a Dana thing to say.
“Have you talked to Alice?”
“No,” she sang. “The last person Alice wants to see is me. She told me. She wanted all or nothing and like an idiot, I said okay. So, that’s it.”
“Try to forget about it, then. I can give you a quick tour, but I’m gonna need to finish setting up. There are a few people you’ve gotta meet.”
“I don’t want any hook ups, Carmen. Thanks. I mean, Al and I. . .It hasn’t been even twenty-four hours, not even twelve, barely six. Jesus, I feel like someone has chopped off my arms, you know.”
Carmen patted Dana’s upper arms. “Still there.” She was about to say something else when she saw Shane walk into the room.
Shane motioned to Carmen to get Dana from the room because Alice was with her.
“Okay, quick tour, all right? Let’s go this way. You must be hungry and you could use a drink.”
“I don’t want to get drunk.”
“Are you playing anytime this weekend? I mean, you can stay, right?”
“Oh, yeah. The Palm Springs thing was a quick tournament—a lot of matches going on at the same time. It was all about making money for breast cancer.”
“So, you could get drunk, but if you don’t want or need that, they have a good juice bar and about fifteen varieties of water. C’mon.”
She quickly pushed Dana through the door.
As soon as they left, Shane went back to the adjacent room for Alice. She had to literally drag her away from the small group talking deep music business.
“Hey. Hey,” Alice objected. “Do you know who you’re pulling me from? You told me that I could maybe get a story here. There are a ton of them. I was talking to Christina and Ludacris. God, Christina is so much sexier in real life. She doesn’t look skanky like she does in her videos. Ludacris! Shane, Ludacris—major.”

I’m really pleased to see a new chapter so soon. Excellent plan by Shane and Carmen to get Al and Dana back together. I have a good feeling that it’ll work. Dylan and Hels, what can I say? They’re hot. I dunno how they’re going to get rid of Danny completely, but I’d think besting him would be easy, because he’s a complete idiot. Can’t the Peabody billions just hire a couple of thugs to muscle his sorry behind out of LA? Bette and Tina: Eureka! I think Porter’s got it! I cannot *wait* for Nicastro, Colley, Marcos and any other hatahs to get put in their place. And last but not least, you actually made me like Henry. Maybe it’s Christmas cheer, maybe it’s that you gave him a heart. Either way, I’m very glad you posted, great chapter, and dare I ask that you post again soon? Why yes. Yes, I do. Shane covered her mouth with her hand to keep from laughing. When she was six or seven, she thought that the words lavatory and laboratory were the same words. Her father had caught her with a glass Pyrex dish and a steak knife in the bathroom on her knees, pulling her poop out of the toilet to begin some experiments in her laboratory. She recalled that her dad threw away the baking dish. – LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Nicastro has got to GO! At least Bette got the ok from Henry to see Tina and that Bette is working on a plan. Helena and Dylan was freakin’ HOT!!!!!!!

The day seemed to end too perfect for B&T what drama do you have planned next? I just want Tina to get better and get up out of that hospital real soon. Stephanie is going to get the help she needs in jail if she keep taking that man’s money. Thank you for another wonderful chapter.
