                I can see you guys cringing, I know it, you’re all yelling, “Bette DON’T DO IT!!!”  Is this the carpenter all over again?  Except this time its with a WRITER!  What is Bette doing?  You have the WORLD!  Don’t do it!

     

                Will she?   Won’t she?  Who exactly is the new player in town????  You think you know but you have no idea….

                Sabrina walked into the hospital, taking long hard deep breathes.  She didn’t want to be here, she wanted to be home with that always inviting bottle of vodka.  She’s been called earlier that morning to face the board, once again.  This time it seemed that they had something more to add.  Could it be that they were also going to expel her from school?  Then she’d never become a doctor, that thought scared her far more than anything else on earth.

     

                Dragging her feet, helmet in hand, Sabrina made her way to the boardroom again, this time she heard yelling, and it was Helena Peabody doing the yelling. 

     

                “No, this is absolutely out of the question, I won’t have her working in MY hospital!” blared Helena.  “Not after what she did, no, absolutely not!”

     

                “I hated her in school and I hate her now,” said a voice from Sabrina’s elbow. 

     

                “Dr. Vance?” asked Sabrina, her dark hazel and green eyes casting a look of confusion towards Sam.  She was in a wheel chair, but looking marginally better than when Bree had last seen her.  How long had it been?  Four weeks?  Sam should have been dead, but the woman seemed to have 7 lives, and lucky for her she did.

     

                “Wheel me in there, will ya?” asked Sam, her grey eyes steely, Sabrina moved behind Sam’s wheelchair.  Sabrina grimaced, but did as she was told, pushing Sam into the boardroom.  “Victor, how are you?” asked Sam to the man to her right.

     

                “I’m doing well, glad to hear that your bone marrow transplant is taking, Samantha,” said Victor.  “Now, let’s get this meeting underway, shall we?”

     

                Sam motioned to Sabrina to sit next to her, “I understand that someone here has used her influence to exact personal revenge on a student and a very good doctor,” began Sam, her voice stronger than Sabrina had ever heard it.  Sabrina didn’t understand what power Sam had, but it seemed that the board was there solely because Sam wanted them there.  “I have been a doctor here since my internship and I’ve never seen such blatant abuse of the system.”
