”She’s Callie’s replacement.” Bette was channel surfing in the meantime ”they say she’s a sex bomb.”

”who thinks that?” Tina laughed drying her hands on the dishcloth.

”the whole hospital.”

Bette looked over to see Tina walking past the TV to pick up some of Angelica’s toys.

”So you’re not dumb?”

”I don’t think so, she’s an excellent doctor but if you mean her sexy charm, well it’s not that striking.”

Bette looked back at the TV ”good to know.”

Tina walked over to her, standing in front of her for a moment and then going down to the couch next to Bette, taking the remote from her hands.

”hey.” Bette said unexpectedly

”do you want to tell me something?”

”about?”

”these questions about Karen? did anyone tell you something…”

”no…just…nothing Tee…give me the remote back please.”

Tina smiled, throwing the remote on the opposite couch, clicking her tongue between her teeth in a spiteful way.

”Tee…” Bette warned her.

”you could tell me how much you missed me instead…” Tina whispered.

”i missed you…” Bette smiled sincerely, looking into her hazel eyes and holding out a hand between them in an invitation ”i miss you even when you’re here so often.”

Tina took Bette’s hand and she pulled her towards her for a hot kiss, slow at first, their bodies pressed together, Tina straddling Bette.

When they broke away Tina remained embraced by Bette ”don’t go away…” she whispered in her ear.

Bette held her tight, closing her eyes ”I don’t have my bag for tomorrow Tee…” she said sorry.

”we should fix this…” Tina sighed, breaking away from Bette to look at her and remaining silent.

They had never talked about living together, they hadn’t had time, Bette had just left the hospital and it was difficult for her to make such a radical change right away, no one knew where their story would end.

Initially Tina went to Bette’s house because she was still very weak from the therapies and had to recover, but lately they were staying at Tina’s house because of Angie. Bete had decided this because he knew that it was difficult for Tina to leave Angie with Monica every night to run to her. She couldn’t allow Tina to never be there for her daughter.
