Life: Altered 03.12 ~*~ Breathe In, Breathe Out
“*****.” Her mother offered and Tina narrowed her eyes
and smiled, sitting down. Her mother
took her hand, seeing that she wasn’t wearing her wedding band. Forgotten?
Or on purpose?
“Mom, this isn’t a date.” Tina said steadfast, not ready to admit that
it was more than two friends getting together to do what? Eat?
Play pool? Walk along the
shores? Ride the ferry boats?
“Perhaps is should be.” Eliza offered and Tina’s eyes grew wide at her
mother’s observation.
~*~*~*~*~*
“Quin at least listen to it?” Maddy begged and Quin threw the guitar and
Alice jumped, and she back peddled away from the angry songwriter. Quin’s face was bright crimson, and her teeth
clamped down making Alice think would have chopped her tongue in half if it had
been in the way.
“YOU PLAYED THAT SONG FOR
HER!!!” Quin yelled and Clapp got down
off the stage and said in an even voice.
Always the teacher and the peacemaker.
“Quin it is the best song
you’ve ever written, song wise in a while. She finished the lyrics. It ***** rocks, ok? We’ll play it and you listen, you have to hear
it, don’t judge until you hear it.” Quin
threw a cold look at Alice as she climbed up onto the stage and they began to
play the song, Quin stared hard.
guitar and Quin watched her. Listening
and feeling the emotions and the music, and half way through it, she forgot
about being mad, instead, a light came into her blue contact lenses covered
eyes. The song ended and she jumped up
onto the stage. She pulled the hair tie
from her hair, letting it flow freely and
“Again, this time what part do
you want?” Quin asked and
to the bold text, and she said in a soft voice.
“You have the Italics.” Quin nodded, letting
his back up, her head moving to the beat and she shook her head. Something was wrong, she tuned her guitar with
quick fingers, and then moved her hands on the neck, and then nodded again.
“Start again…” Quin said and
Quin, but holding her own.

I think we can all see why “Le Machine” is appropriate. ; )
Whoa – good stuff. I know who her mother is…
Tina w/ Cassandra, Bette w/ Candace excellent pairings. Tina & Bette seem to function better w/ other people. I may be one of the few people who liked the character of Candace. I would like to see where you take this couple. Poor Shane hope she sends Steve’s ass to jail. Guess Cherie hasn’t visited (if she’s still alive), not surprised she was all about self.
OH what a nice way to wipe the day out of my mind, I see I have a lot of JM reading to catch up on. OK and bette smells like wood LMAO!!! that was fucking hilarious. Alrighty off to read your other story.
I feel so sad about Shane!!! She could talk to Bette and showed her that she made a big mistake!! I’d like Tina does not cheat Bette before she find out her infidelity. And I still want Bette feels a lot of guilty and pain!!!Nice post!!!
someone needs a a brain in this relaitonship
