    Dana does something un-Dana-like – Peggy Peabody makes a date – Shane finds a new home – Shane tells Dana about a secret – Bette breaks things off with Candace – Tina talks to her mom – Alice finally breaks down some of Quin’s walls – Cassandra and Tina get closer

                Alice: Thru the passion of it all

                Quin: We’ve let it all go

                The music faded and Alice felt
    more exhausted than having had ***** for 10 hour without having come up for air,
    she wiped the sweat from her eyes.  She
    saw the look on Quin’s face and thought that she was going to get the guitar
    across the head; instead she got something she wasn’t ready for.

                “You’re not bad Peterson.  Not bad at all.”  Quin said, she began to walk away, and she
    threw in off handedly with her back turned.

                “Have her come to the showcase
    at Twilight next week.  Welcome to Ebony
    Dawn Ali Peterson    .”  Quin said, as the door closed and Doogie looked
    at     Alice    , Clapp pumping his fist in the air, this
    was the song that was going to put them in the mainstream.

                “Dude, is that like your name?
     I thought it was like Alice    ?”  Alice smiled, nodding and grinning from ear to
    ear.

                “Uh huh, it is.”

                Tina walked into the room, blind folded, and
    thinking it ironic because     Shane     was now blind.  She said nothing, as Cass sat her down and removed the blind fold.  The room smelled of sweet flowers and the
    aroma of food was all around her.

                “Wow.”  Tina said, seeing the candle lit room, basking in the glow
    and she smiled, looking up at     Cass    .  Cass simply smiled, in her knowing way and pulled the
    chair out for     Tina    , who sat down.

                “Ok, it’s a bit much, but I
    thought you deserved to be pampered.”  Cassandra
    said and Tina    ‘s eyebrows shot up.  Cassandra met her eyes, and Tina looked down for a moment, feeling like a
    queen.

                “My mom thinks I should be
    dating you.”  Tina     blurted out and Cass laughed, she moved to the kitchen and said in a
    smooth voice.

                “She wanted your sister to be
    ***** to date me when we first met.  Did
    she tell you that too?  I hit it off with
    your mom the minute I met her.  Em is
    fun, I like being around her and your mom just found I was, charming.  Maybe your mom is *****?”  Cass     asked and Tina shook her head no, looking around the small apartment
    and feeling so at home here.  Feeling
    alive and at peace with herself.  No
    turmoil at all no pain and no trepidation.

    3. Tina w/ Cassandra, Bette w/ Candace excellent pairings. Tina & Bette seem to function better w/ other people. I may be one of the few people who liked the character of Candace. I would like to see where you take this couple. Poor Shane hope she sends Steve’s ass to jail. Guess Cherie hasn’t visited (if she’s still alive), not surprised she was all about self.

    4. OH what a nice way to wipe the day out of my mind, I see I have a lot of JM reading to catch up on. OK and bette smells like wood LMAO!!! that was fucking hilarious. Alrighty off to read your other story.

    5. I feel so sad about Shane!!! She could talk to Bette and showed her that she made a big mistake!! I’d like Tina does not cheat Bette before she find out her infidelity. And I still want Bette feels a lot of guilty and pain!!!Nice post!!!
