In return for her full cooperation and confession, Helena agreed to support any reasonable plea agreement on all of the charges, so long as Alice and Dana were amenable. For her part, Winnie was to start counseling immediately, with progress reports to be made to Whit’s office on a monthly basis. In exchange, Helena agreed to defer making a final decision on permanently excluding her from Wilson and Jun Ying’s lives. They found Gail Guthrie in the waiting area when they emerged from the room. The look on her face was priceless for the fraction of a second before she recovered. Lara led Helena past the glowering woman, putting her body betwen them.
“I eat rich spoiled bitches for lunch everyday,” Gail said through a barracuda grin. “You never stood a chance.”
Helena stopped dead in her tracks before she recognized the bait for what it was. She felt Lara pulling her toward the door at the moment she realized that this vile woman still believed that she had Winnie in her hip pocket.
“I think you’re having a very bad day Gail,” Helena said in a low, calm voice, without turning toward her. “It’s the first of many, if I’m not mistaken.” With that Helena quickly took her leave, kissing the hand of a very relieved Lara as they made their way out.
“Fuck Russell Simmons.” Shane spit the words out in shock.
She had an hour between appointments and was doing some bookkeeping when Carmen appeared unannounced, lunch in hand, wearing a gorgeous grin. Shane returned the smile and voraciously attacked Carmen’s plump, luscious lips with her own. Five minutes of heated making out later, Carmen managed to pull herself away and told her about the life-changing offer Russell Simmons had made not forty-five minutes earlier.
Shane knew it was an amazing opportunity: house deejay in Simmons’ new club and featured deejay in next summer’s tour, with the possibility of producing after that. It was Carmen’s dream, everything she’d been working for, everything she was ready for. Shane was ecstatic. Things had never worked out like this for her. Ten seconds later the world imploded in spectacular fashion. Russell Simmons was based in New York. Carmen would have to move to accept the job.
“Fuck Russell Simmons.”

Again you’ve outdone yourself. I wish my writing could get better exponentially every time I post, but I suppose I’ll leave that to the the true authors like yourself. I can definitely see a lot of openings for followups to this, and not just in the Danish department, although everyone knows that’s the storyline I’m most interested in. I’ll read whatever you write, though, always will. I’m glad the Winnie thing seems to have reached a resolution, though if I were Helena I’d never even consider letting her near those kids regardless of explanations/apologies. Anyway, wonderful chapter, I hope you never stop writing.
That was truly excellent. I’m with De_Leish, I really hoped to see Al and Dane raise their kid(s). Maybe another sequel??? I like that they’re both gonna try to use their brothers as donors, if not Harrison would be a great idea (I miss him, he was so fun and flamboyant). Hope the next chapter won’t be the last one you write totally!
Surely your next chapter is not going to be the last in this wonderfully written fiction. It has been a truly fantastic journey you have taken us on, and will be sad if we don’t see our Danish girls raise their child(ren), but I am sure your next story will be just as pleasing for us. Thanks again – you deserve a Fanfic Award for this.

Dang, I can’t believe it’s almost over. At least we can enjoy it while it lasts; this was yet another amazing chapter. I hope there are lots of sequels, and I can promise you that I’ll be reading them.

So, Winnie’s finally finished… what of Gail? I hope, like Helena said, she’s having the first of many crappy days to come. Babies? Via Harrison? That could be… interesting. I think after Shane’s come this far, New York should be a piece of cake. She’s strong enough to handle it. That was heck of a nice way for Bette and Tina to say goodbye to the house. This story has been a great ride, so entertaining, humorous, dramatic, romantic, sexy…all that and more!!!! love it, love, love it…..altho I’m not too hot on forgiving Winnie…I don’t trust a word that comes outa that tramps mouth; Helena has too much heart and too little brain; she should take Lara and her kidz and start life afresh without the dangerously ditzy Winnie and her off-sider Gail…HOPE AL AND DANES GET TO HAVE LOTS OF BABIES.PPS
Oh no 2nd last chapter, so we’re not gonna see Dana and Alice raise their kid :( Can you do a sequel, pretty pretty please with cherries on top? wow, sad to hear that this is coming to an end. :( I really do hope that you will continue it somehow. Lovely to see that Dana and Alice are preparing themselves for a baby. Nice ending for everyone. Great as usual, can’t wait for the next one, although it’s going to be the last one.
Wonderful as always! By all means take a break and then return with the rest of the story, there is still so much to tell isn’t there? Seriously either way this is fab story that i’ll re-read over again :)
