    Anyone hungry…. it’s dinnertime! What could happen when they all get together…..

    Dana – Yes, babe. I know I’ve asked a lot from you lately and I want to make it up to you. Consider it your wedding present from me.

    Lara – You are my wedding present, Dana.

    Lara, now kissing Dana.

    Dana – Hey, what about that food…. I’m starving.

    Lara – Coming right up…

    Dana steps outside to call Alice again… yet again, sent to voice mail.

    “Its me again, Alice. Don’t avoid me, we need to talk. I’m so confused about that kiss….. what did it mean, Al?”

    Yes, Alice was avoiding Dana. She needed to continue avoiding her til she could tell Dana everything. Alice was touched by her last message. She knew Dana was confused…. and messing with her mind was not her intention. What did that kiss mean to Dana? Alice wanted to know her answer as much as she wanted to tell Dana what it meant to her.

    Alice was at work…. she had spoken to Gina moments ago about the dinner plans. She would rather go alone, but this way

    they wouldn’t pester her because Gina would be the buffer.

    What she was concentrating on now, was the article about Dana. She was struggling for the words. What could she possibly say to influence the millions of people that would read it? What could she say to undo all the damage that has already been done? Instead of sitting there in frustration, she decided to go home. Well not home… Gina’s. At least she could play around with the safe…. see if she could get it open.

    Dana was disappointed to find no messages on her answering machine at home. Her cell phone never rang except for Tina calling to invite her and Lara to dinner. She sat at the coffee table and ate her lunch. Looking over at the stack of magazines, she saw the photo album sitting on top. She grabbed it from the stack and started looking at all the pages. It had been a long time since she looked at them. All those memories of all the times she had spent with her friends.

    Dana was glad to be having dinner with her friends again. It use to be a weekly thing they did. She missed all of them. Lately she had been feeling isolated because of all the happenings in her life. Lara was right about one thing, she was quick to defend Alice. Dana knew Alice wouldn’t have singled her out if she didn’t truly believe it was her that attacked her. She would never understand how the false memory came about. Dana missed Alice so much.
