    Chapter 7 – B&T beginning

     

    Everybody was seated and enjoying the main course of their dinner; Tina sat at the main table next to Kelly. Next to the blonde were the other two maids of honor, and next to Brad were the best men. Kelly’s and Brad’s parents were sitting at the far ends of the table; although that distribution was gonna change at the actual wedding.

     

    “My god this food is the best I’ve ever eaten, and trust me I do eat out a lot” Tina said putting another forkful in her mouth.

     

    “I know… for what I understand this one of the best chefs in LA” Kelly said also with her mouth full of food.

     

    “Wait… you don’t know the chef that is serving the food at your own wedding?” Tina asked surprised that her friend would leave something like that in somebody else’s hands.

     

    “I know, that’s crazy right?! But my parents insisted so much, saying it would be their wedding present… we couldn’t say no to them, besides we’ve been to her restaurant in the past and we absolutely love her food. We should go eat there after our honeymoon… I’m telling you it’s a whole new culinary experience” Kelly commented.

     

    “Well this chef surely knows her way around the kitchen. What’s her name?” Tina asked amused thinking that Kelly never paid much attention to food, so this woman was definitely something if she managed to convert her friend into a food expert.

     

    “Ah Elizabeth… something…. You should ask my parents, they are the ones that hired her. They could also introduce you to her if you want… I heard she plays for your recently adopted team” Kelly said almost above a whisper and Tina giggled.

     

    “And here was I thinking that by switching teams you would stop parading me around” Tina whispered back.

     

    “Never! You’re my most profitable acquaintance” Kelly answered and they both giggled.

     

    After dinner was served the kitchen was still in full swing preparing as much of the breakfast and wedding food as it was possible.

     

    “How are we doing Laurel?” Bette asked lifting her eyes towards where her sous-chef was, as she continued chopping some strawberries.

     

    “We’re fine Chef Bette, everybody is almost done. I think than in half an hour or so we can wrap it up here and go rest” Laurel informed as she approached the brunette and started chopping with her.

    3. ahh, pancakes for breakfast….again. this will be an interesting breakfast. one has to wonder if bette will be introduced as the chef who tuned this variation together with the help of her staff. hmm. thickening plots and near miss meetings between these two. YOU are a tease!!what a great story. bette is a chef. how great is that? can’t wait to read more of this story. and thanks for taking the time to share with us.

    5. Tina must be sure to get up for breakfast and have a meal that she will never forget. How will she handle all the emotion that will be happening to her, with her parents present. Great update. Thanks for posting.

    6. I love how you have written both Bette and Tina. I can’t wait for the pancakes to appear and to see what Tina’s reaction will be to those pancakes. Do you think you could pass on the recipe for the chocolate desert?

    17. Huummm Pancakes. Knowing that Tina had never eaten a pancakes so tasty, I’m thinking that Tina is going to connect to a special pancakes Bette Potter. Can not wait for the reunion of the two. More please………….

    21. Oh boy…meeting time…can’t wait! Are you going to make Laurel a twisted character in the triangle of young love? Or will she just pine away for Bette? Interesting twist and options that you have. Ok…let the games begin!

    22. was partying last night but was so nice to get up this morning and read another chapter, cant wait for Bette and Tina to meet again in the next one
