“You LA girls do things a lot differently than Boston girls do.”  He stammered as she took his hand and pressed it to her breast, any resistance he might have had melted away and he caressed her breast.  She pushed him onto the couch and straddled him; her eyes filled with lust as she kissed him.  Letting the pain fade to a soft throb at the back of her mind.  Marina.

            Marina stepped onto the plane, she looked back down the long carpeted tunnel and then she went in and found her seat.  No looking back, no regrets.

            She’d left her father in a good enough terms, she left her address and phone number.  Instructing him to call, only if he needed her.  He had nodded; and not said more than that.  Marina now had one thing in her possession that he’d given her.  Her mother’s journal of her pregnancy and her years afterwards.  It spanned four green leather bound books; her life story.  He’d felt that she needed to read her mother’s words for herself.

            She settled into the plush seat; closing her eyes and drifting off into a dream filled sleep, dreams of Jenny colored her spectrum.  She had a lot to make up for, and she was going to enjoy every moment of it.  A smile spread over her face as she slept.

            Kit kissed Marty as she turned over onto her belly; staring at her sweat covered lover.  Marty scratched his beard; he’d let it grow in and he thought he looked older, Kit said he looked wiser.  He scoffed; and turned to face her.

            “What are you grinning at Kit?”  He asked and she kissed him again; sighing softly as they parted.

            “I’m happy.”  Was her reply and he wiggled his eyebrows; sending her into a fit of laughter, and he pulled her close. 

            “Me too.”  He smiled as she settled down in his arms.

            “Do you have to go?”  Dana moaned one of Al’s editors, Garret had called and there was a breaking story that they were revamping the whole magazine for tonight so that they could go to press in the morning.  He wanted his best writer to help put the ends of the story together to make one seamless joint.  That writer was Alice.
