    Tina sits up her eyes still half closed

    “Mmmm…I recall some begging but the word stop doesn’t ring a bell”

    Bette tries to smother her laugh by kissing Tina and it works when Tina deepens the kiss, but Bette knows where this will lead if she doesn’t stop now and they will end up spending the rest of the day in bed so she reluctantly pulls back.

    Tina is surprised but is now at least fully awake.

    “Hey I was enjoying that”

    Bette is already off the bed and on her way to retrieve the breakfast tray.

    “Here drink and eat….then we’ll shower and head out for the day”

    “What….you mean….out….side….out…of….bed….why?”

    Bette sits back on the bed handing Tina her coffee and feeding her a piece of melon.

    “I thought we could take a drive up the coast and go for a walk along the beach”

    Tina is still chewing her melon but responds anyway

    “What…you want to go for a walk……Bette the muscles on my muscles are aching and….

    Bette puts another piece of melon in Tina’s mouth

    “Don’t talk with your mouth full….the decision is made we are going out today”

    Tina huffs

    “Bette just incase this sulk that I am now in lasts for the remainder of the day I better tell you now that I love you”

    “I love you too” Bette kisses Tina’s forehead and jumps off the bed

    “Damn that didn’t work did it”

    “Nope I’m going for a shower”

    Tina continued her futile attempts at changing Bette’s mind until they were actually in the car, they where 15 minutes into the journey when she realised that Bette hadn’t said a word.

    “Your very quiet…you do remember that it’s me that’s sulking right”

    Bette had spent the last 15 minutes banding ideas around in her head on how to approach what she wanted to discuss with Tina.

    “Sorry I was just thinking. Bette apologized.

    “About”

    Bette wasn’t ready…now was not the right time..she decided to wait a little longer.

    “How’s your schedule this week you think you’ll have time to squeeze me in one night for dinner”

    Tina was in the middle of a shoot and her schedule had been crazy for the last 6 weeks she barely had the time to see Bette except for the weekends.

    3. Ok, so it’s 12:09am, and I still have a ton of work to do. Clearly, tonight isn’t happening. In the future, Skimmer, please don’t subject me to the pressure of having Chicki check this site for my post, ok? I think I’ve wasted more of the last two hours trying to figure out if I was going to have time to write, which obviously resulted in no time to write :P Ok, back to work. I promise that I will write my next post before I go to sleep, even if it turns out the sun is rising. But only because you made me feel bad. :D XOX

    4. and yes, I do know it’s my fault for making promises on a public forum. But I’m going to blame it on you because… well, why not? You can’t cross the Atlantic and hurt me.

    7. I’m glad you reposted this cos I don’t think I ever got the chance to read chapters 13&14. I do remember how 12 ended though. Another thing with the chance to read the chapters back to back is to see how Tina is like, a bit withholding, to say the least. Bette’s a bit cranky, yeah, but Tina’s totally passive-aggressive. Maybe once they move in together some of that will get better? I hope so, but you said there’s only one chapter left?!? :( Skimmer, that chapter better be LONG. (I’ll take what I can get though). Thanks!
