    Chapters 11-15 repost

    Tina has the biggest smile when she says,

    “The answers yes”

    “What….how can you say yes when you don’t even know the question”

    “I don’t care what the question is the answer is still yes….”

    “Tina I could be asking you absolutely anything…like I don’t know….we should maybe think about buying a home together” Bette holds her breath

    “Wow”

    “That’s it…wow….and if you mention anything about food I swear I am going to dig a six foot hole and bury you in it”

    “Now that you mention it I am kinda hungry” Tina is nearly hysterical as she tries to scurry away but Bette grabs her before she gets too far and spins her around so they again facing each other.

    The question is momentarily forgotten as they get lost in each others eyes.

    “Stop looking at me like that” Bette whispers

    “Your looking at me like that” Tina whispers back

    “I can’t help it”

    “And you think I can”

    Simultaneously they both only speak one more word.

    “Home”

    Chapter 14

    Bettes apartment

    Bette slams her cell shut after hearing Tina’s voicemail for what must be the 10th time during the last hour.

    Where the hell is she, why isn’t she answering her phone, she was the one who practically threw me out this morning so she could start the packing early. Bette is getting more and more agitated with each unanswered call.

    She is seriously considering getting back in her car and driving back over there when the intercom disrupts her thoughts.

    “Alice Pieszecky reporting for duty maam”

    “Come on up”

    Bette opens the apartment door and waits in the doorway for Alice to arrive.

    “Alice has Dana got to Tina’s yet”

    “Hi Alice thanks for giving up your Saturday to help me pack, your the bestest friend a girl could wish for” Alice says rather sarcastically.

    “Yeah yeah…well has she”

    “How do I know my gaydar doesn’t reach that far Bette”

    “Well will you call Dana and ask her, I have been trying to get hold of Tina for the last hour and she is not answering”

    “Tina…Tina…Tina….it’s always about the Tina with you….do you ever have a thought that doesn’t include Tina”

    3. Ok, so it’s 12:09am, and I still have a ton of work to do. Clearly, tonight isn’t happening. In the future, Skimmer, please don’t subject me to the pressure of having Chicki check this site for my post, ok? I think I’ve wasted more of the last two hours trying to figure out if I was going to have time to write, which obviously resulted in no time to write :P Ok, back to work. I promise that I will write my next post before I go to sleep, even if it turns out the sun is rising. But only because you made me feel bad. :D XOX

    4. and yes, I do know it’s my fault for making promises on a public forum. But I’m going to blame it on you because… well, why not? You can’t cross the Atlantic and hurt me.

    7. I’m glad you reposted this cos I don’t think I ever got the chance to read chapters 13&14. I do remember how 12 ended though. Another thing with the chance to read the chapters back to back is to see how Tina is like, a bit withholding, to say the least. Bette’s a bit cranky, yeah, but Tina’s totally passive-aggressive. Maybe once they move in together some of that will get better? I hope so, but you said there’s only one chapter left?!? :( Skimmer, that chapter better be LONG. (I’ll take what I can get though). Thanks!
