    “I wonder if Dana is interested in doing a swap” Alice mumbles to herself.

    Tina’s Apartment

    “No offence Dane but I think Alice might be rubbing Bette up the wrong way….she is in a foul mood”

    Dana laughs and hands Tina her coffee and they both sit on the sofa.

    “Rather her than me”

    “I’ll just send her a text hopefully it will cheer her up” Tina is busy fingering the keys on her phone while reciting the text to Dana

    “I’m sorry babe I missed your calls I had my music up too loud and didn’t hear it ring. Forgive me? I love you more everyday and can’t wait until Monday and we spend our first night together in our new home. Forever T xx

    “You know I can still hardly believe it….in less than a year the very straight Tina Kinnard has caught and tamed the infamous Bette Porter and here you are buying a home together…it’s crazy stuff Tina”

    “Well you can’t fight destiny Dane…She’s the one”

    “Your missing piece”

    “My first and last thought”

    “Your angel sent from above”

    “My hearts every desire”

    “Your sunshine on a rainy day”

    “My everything”

    “Your Juliet”

    Tina is perplexed at this one.

    “My best friend”

    “Hey that’s my job”

    “Your fired from that position… Juliet….really….what are you trying to say…. I’m a man now”

    “OK…” Dana gives her self a second to think.

    “Your reason for living”

    “My soul mate” Tina sighs wistfully and lays her head on the back of the sofa.

    “You win I can’t think of anymore…I’ll get the coffee”

    Dana returns with fresh cups of coffee

    Tina lifts up her head.

    “Dane…you really think this is crazy”

    “Does she make you happy”

    “More than I ever thought possible”

    “Then I will be happy to give you away on your wedding day”

    “I didn’t know that was even possible, it would be nice to make it official before the kids arrive”

    “Already I thought you wanted to wait until you were a little older, a little more established in your career”

    3. Ok, so it’s 12:09am, and I still have a ton of work to do. Clearly, tonight isn’t happening. In the future, Skimmer, please don’t subject me to the pressure of having Chicki check this site for my post, ok? I think I’ve wasted more of the last two hours trying to figure out if I was going to have time to write, which obviously resulted in no time to write :P Ok, back to work. I promise that I will write my next post before I go to sleep, even if it turns out the sun is rising. But only because you made me feel bad. :D XOX

    4. and yes, I do know it’s my fault for making promises on a public forum. But I’m going to blame it on you because… well, why not? You can’t cross the Atlantic and hurt me.

    7. I’m glad you reposted this cos I don’t think I ever got the chance to read chapters 13&14. I do remember how 12 ended though. Another thing with the chance to read the chapters back to back is to see how Tina is like, a bit withholding, to say the least. Bette’s a bit cranky, yeah, but Tina’s totally passive-aggressive. Maybe once they move in together some of that will get better? I hope so, but you said there’s only one chapter left?!? :( Skimmer, that chapter better be LONG. (I’ll take what I can get though). Thanks!
