    “Alice can you just call her please” Bette wonders how the hell she is going to get through the whole day without strangling Alice.

    “Ok ok keep your knickers on….jeez am I in for a fun day”

    Tina’s apartment

    “TINA…….TINA” Dana heads straight for CD player and turns the volume down. “That’s one thing I haven’t missed how loud you have your music…how can you hear yourself think never mind anything else”

    “Hey Dana…You know I like it loud when doing stuff……” Tina gives Dana a quick friendly hug. “Thanks for helping me pack…your the best”

    “No problem we haven’t spent the day together in months and I have missed our Saturday chats”

    “Yeah me too…I guess we have both been kinda pre-occupied huh” Tina

    “Oh yeah that reminds me can you call Bette, apparently she is having a hissy fit because your not answering your phone”

    Tina picks up her cell.

    “Shit…she has called 12 times I wonder what’s up….I’ll just call her back”

    “I think you should….I’ll put some coffee on” Dana heads off toward the kitchen

    Bettes Apartment

    Bette flips open her phone.

    “Where have you been I have called you at least 10 times” Bette tries to hide her annoyance but Tina detects that Bette is not happy.

    “12 actually” Fuck why did I just say that Tina grimaces.

    “Ah so you counted how many times you have ignored me” Bette didn’t even attempt to hide how irritated she was by that flippant remark.

    “I haven’t been ignoring you….was it important”

    “What now it has to be something important before I can call you”

    “I didn’t say that…look I’m going to go before this escalates, we both have a lot to do I’ll see you tonight ok” Tina said half expecting Bette to disagree.

    “Ok fine” Bette tosses her phone not caring where it lands and doesn’t notice the battery dislodges.

    “Here I’ve made you some tea might help you calm down a little” Alice says while handing Bette her peace offering”

    “Alice we haven’t got time for fucking tea we have two days to get this place packed up and ready to move” Bette sweeps past Alice and heads towards her bedroom.

    3. Ok, so it’s 12:09am, and I still have a ton of work to do. Clearly, tonight isn’t happening. In the future, Skimmer, please don’t subject me to the pressure of having Chicki check this site for my post, ok? I think I’ve wasted more of the last two hours trying to figure out if I was going to have time to write, which obviously resulted in no time to write :P Ok, back to work. I promise that I will write my next post before I go to sleep, even if it turns out the sun is rising. But only because you made me feel bad. :D XOX

    4. and yes, I do know it’s my fault for making promises on a public forum. But I’m going to blame it on you because… well, why not? You can’t cross the Atlantic and hurt me.

    7. I’m glad you reposted this cos I don’t think I ever got the chance to read chapters 13&14. I do remember how 12 ended though. Another thing with the chance to read the chapters back to back is to see how Tina is like, a bit withholding, to say the least. Bette’s a bit cranky, yeah, but Tina’s totally passive-aggressive. Maybe once they move in together some of that will get better? I hope so, but you said there’s only one chapter left?!? :( Skimmer, that chapter better be LONG. (I’ll take what I can get though). Thanks!
