“I know you’re not particularly happy that they are back but I need them Bette. I need them in my life.”
“T, whatever you decide, as long as they never try to hurt you or Angie I will support your decision. I don’t necessarily disagree with them being in your life but I think that they need to earn that right to be there again.”
“I was up most of the night trying to grasp that they’ve lied to me my whole life. That one lie has been almost a conspiracy because more and more people were aware of it but never told me. I know that I can’t forgive the lie but I need to find a way to forgive them, the people. I think that if they’re serious about wanting to make amends and be a part of our lives, they are going to have to step outside their comfort level. I’m going to ask them to come here. I can meet them at their hotel and then we can all have dinner together. If they’re serious about wanting to be in our lives, they will come. If they’re not, then I can move on. I’m not going back there to see them though. I don’t owe them that.”
“All you can do is ask them. I think that you need to clearly put what boundaries you want in place before you ask them though. I know yesterday you laid it on them about respecting Angie and her differences. Are you going to tell them about our split?”
“No, there’s no reason to. I needed my mom when it was all happening but it’s done and over with and we’re together. They don’t need to know about it. I don’t think that they have a right or expectation to know about every detail of my life. You’re right though. I need to spell it out to them what I’m willing to take from them and what I’m not so that if they agree to come out here, they know everything beforehand.”
“I’m proud of you T. You’ve handled this better than I would have. Come on. Let’s get showered and go pick up our kid. I’m sure that Kit has spoiled her more than necessary and we can grab something to eat before round 2 with the Kennard parental unit.”

Welcome back, newagegirl! Have I mentioned that I absolutely love this story? I like the story’s pacing; you’re not in a rush, you’re taking time to explain what both Bette and Tina are going through, what they’re thinking and their emotional state. I’d really love to see an episode or two of Season 6 play out this way because like Alice, I’m dying to know if Tina’s been raised by a pack of wolves or not. And thank you for keeping the memory of the healthy, happy and goofy Dana alive. I also appreciate the “screen time” you’ve been giving to the adorable Angie. That’s something we didn’t get from the show this season too. Me wuv surprises! Can’t wait for their date night… THANK YOU, newagegirl, and please don’t stay away too long!:>

I can’t wait for the surprise. Is it Christmas time or my birthday? It is going to be interesting to see what happens. I am extremely happy for Tina and for Bette. With Tina’s parents coming then Bette will have more family. I hope that they except Bette also.

Finally! I have been looking everyday for one of my favorite stories. I was about to give up on you. You have made me a very happy camper. I have to say again, I just love the realness of your dialogue.
