Window of Opportunity ch. 64
“T, I know and I love doing for you. Maybe we can take a bath when we get in and explore the room a little more. I know I rushed you when we got there but I think that you probably are ok with the reasons why.”
“More than ok. I didn’t know we were coming here or I would have tried to plan something special for you. I guess I will have to come up with a creative way to show my appreciation.” She smiled that smile that she knew made me wet every time and I knew the rest of our evening was going to be incredible.
We rode the rest of the way to the hotel in companionable silence with her resting in my arms. I loved holding her close to me. I loved being able to smell the jasmine conditioner that she used and the perfume that she wore. I loved feeling her heartbeat because with each beat I felt, I knew that I too was so alive with her in my life. I was so lost in my thoughts of holding her that I didn’t realize we had arrived at the hotel until Marc opened the door and helped us out. I told him that I would call in the morning when we needed him and he wished us both a good evening before getting back into the car and driving off. We headed inside and were taken to our floor.
When we got into the room, everything that I had requested was waiting for us. There were beautiful roses throughout the living room, the lights were dimmed and the curtains were open giving a magnificent view of the wondrous city we were visiting. We took a few minutes to look around and admired the view before we went into the bedroom. The bedroom also was adorned in flowers. There were rose petals on the turned down bed, chocolate and strawberries on the nightstand along with a bottle of champagne that was chilling. Robes were laid on the bed for us and I kissed Tina and went into the bathroom to run us a bath. I knew under the robes she would find a letter from me and I wanted to give her a moment to read it.

i just love this story… and i love the fact that they are now in NEW YORK… not to far from me… so happy to hear about your baby… and hopefully he continues to sleep threw the night for you… i also adopted 12 years ago… so enjoy…PPS
I see some are still interested in the grits. Hey, in Hawaii they serve rice for breakfast at McDonalds. This is an exquisite story. It brings together family, friends and the joys of having both in their lives. Finally it is summer and of course that means the scorching heat.
Continued wishes for a full nights sleep for you and I just love this story. PPS:)
NAG, you are absolutely incredible and this is one amazing story! It is as good at chapter 64 as it was at chapter 1. I really enjoy everything about this story and I’m so glad that you will be continuing it and not ending it abruptly. Can’t wait for your next installment!
Hi Nag, so glad your haveing a good time with little G. He’s so lucky to have you, Your a beautiful person outside and in. Everything toby4ever said plus I love how you put the names and places together so well, do I have to go see if there are really places in NYC, like Faces, cause that was fun. I knew you would never end this or anything abruptly. Sorry it’s so hot there but you know, thats how it is in the south. Take care my friend and Thank you. Md
** Sigh ** Sooooo romantic! Welcome back Newy – and a wonderful update! Hope you are enjoying the summer break with the little one. Looking forward to the next part…
I see Bette is in full romantic, grand gestures mode again. She’s right. Tina has always been the strong one in their relationship and when Bette relaxes and allows Tina to take control every now and then, they are happier, more at peace and secure about the future of their relationship. Thank you for this update, NAG. Hope you’ll find time to chill in the midst of the scorching heat. :>
This story is so wonderful and Beautiful. The way you write is amazing. Thank you
this is a beautiful love story.

Yet another beautiful chapter to add to all the others, hope your baby sleeps through the night and sorry it is so hot there. Please post a new chapter soon.
Great chapter, so loving together and Bette’s letter was the highlight of the chapter, so beautiful and loving. Happy to see little G sleeping a little better for you. I cook grits all the time and I will send Rau direction for making grits. I live in Texas and my paternal family is from Louisiana so I’ve had them all my life. They’re easy to make and I love them, my children hate them. Get some rest and post when you can. Still loving the story and I just told some friends about the story. BTW everyone, L Word Season 1 will start on Logo channel June 26 at 10:00 pm.
