    Author Notes:

    I just wanted everything to go back to the way it was before, but before what?

     

    “Thanks, Kaylen.  That means more to me than you know.” I replied.

     

    Kaylen nodded and glanced at her watch.  “Shit!  I am really late.” She turned to Aiden.  “Sorry babe we are going to have to skip the shower.” She said as she ran out of the room.

     

    Aiden narrowed his eyes at me.  I shrugged my shoulders and looked sheepish.

     

    “Sorry Aid, my panic attack was a little more important.  Besides you can catch a shower with her later.” I said.

     

    He grabbed a pillow off the couch and threw it at me. “You owe me big time Davies!”

     

    Kaylen came trotting back out fully dressed.  “Ok I will talk to you two later.  Don’t worry Ash it will be ok.” She said looking at me. 

     

    She turned to Aiden and gave him a quick kiss and started for the door but he pulled her back for another kiss.  The small kiss was building into something a little bigger.

     

    “AHEM! Hello, you two….evil twin trying to steal my girlfriend right now!” I yelled at them.

     

    Kaylen rolled her eyes at me with a smile and headed out the door.

     

    “Damn Ashley give a guy a break!” Aiden said as he threw the other couch pillow at me.  I caught it and walked over to the couch and flopped over the back onto the cushions ignoring him.  I had other things on my mind.

     

    “Hey you want a beer?” he called from the kitchen.

     

    “God, YES!” I replied.  It was going to be a long night and I needed something to settle the nerves.

     

    Spencer POV:

     

    I raised my hand to knock on the apartment door.  I hesitated and took a deep breath.  Just get it over with Spencer I said to my self.  I knocked.

     

    Jena opened the door.  She was wearing long boardshorts and a tank and she smelled of the ocean.  She stepped aside to let me come in.  I noticed she had a chunk of surf board wax in her hand and her board was laid across the couch.  She fit the hot surfer girl image to a T and it was one of my weaknesses.
