Chapter 134

Two months and a week later:

It’s Christmas time again, the time is flying by. Tina is due in three weeks. Early January. It’s now December 19^th.

Tina have been on bed rest the last two weeks. Dr. Wilson had told them that the twins could come any day now. They had originally planned on going to North Carolina for Christmas, but with the bed rest, Bette said no. So she bought plain tickets for them and they are arriving tomorrow afternoon. They are having the party at the beach house. Since Alice and Shane don’t have any family, they are always welcome. Stephanie, Jessie and the kids were visiting Stephanie’s sister this Christmas. Bette was working half days now. She made sure she was always home around noon. Sarah had already come. She was finished at school December 13^th. So she had taken a plane out the 16^th. To help Tina.

It’s night, Alice and Shane had invited Sarah out tonight, to give Bette and Tina some alone time. They need it, because in a few days, their life will change.

Tina is in bed, Bette walk in with a cup of tea for Tina.

“Here’s your tea baby.” Bette says and place the cup down on Tina’s night table.

“Thanks babe.” Tina replies and smiles up at Bette.

Bette walks around and get in. Sitting up against the headboard. Tina moves slightly to lean against her.

“How are you feeling?” Bette asks.

“I’m okay, feel enormous, swollen.” Tina replies.

“You look beautiful.” Bette says and leans in for a kiss.

“Oh, babe, feel. They’re kicking.” Tina says and lights up.

Bette moves her hand on top of Tina’s stomach. She smiles as she feels the babies kick. Bette leans her head down on Tina’s.

“It’s amazing and maybe in a few days, they’ll be joining us, finally.” Bette says softly.

“Yeah.” Tina agrees and watches Bette’s hand softly  stroking her stomach.

They fell asleep a little later.

Next day:

Tina is laying in bed, reading a book. Sarah is out in the living room helping Bette clean the place. Bette was still at work, she was due home in an hour or so.

Suddenly Sarah hear Tina scream.

“SARAH?” She screams.
