Sarah drops what she’s doing and rushes into the bedroom.
“Tina, what wrong?” She asks, kneeling beside her.
“I think it’s starting. My God it hurts. Call Bette.” Tina says.
Sarah stands up and takes out her cell phone and dials Bette’s number.
“Hello, Bette Porter speaking.” Bette says into the phone.
“Bette, it’s Sarah, Tina is in labour. I think you should come home.” Sarah says.
“Oh my, yeah, I’m on my way.” Bette hears Tina scream in the background. “Sarah put Tina on the phone.” Bette says.
Sarah holds the phone to Tina’s ear.
“Baby, you just breath okay, I’ll be right there.” Bette says in a soft voice.
“Bette, hurry okay?” Tina cries into the phone.
“Yes, baby. Hang in there okay. I love you. I’ll be there before you know it. I love you.” Bette says again. And hangs up.
“Could you get me out of bed?” Tina asks Sarah.
“Sure.” Sarah replies.
It takes a few minutes, but they are finally out of bed and right then, Tina’s water break.
“Oh God.” Tina says.
“Well, let me get you a new pair of pants and then we’ll go out in the living room waiting for Bette, okay?” Sarah says.
“Okay.” Tina replies. “Get a towel too.” Tina adds.
“Yeah.” Sarah says and runs into the bathroom to get a towel. She runs back and help Tina off with her wet pants. And then help to dry her off and put on the clean pants.
They walk into the living room. And just then Bette comes running through the door.
“Baby.” She says and stops before her with a smile. “It’s happening.” She adds.
“Yeah, you got here fast. Please don’t tell you speeded.” Tina says with a worried look on her face.
“Just a little bit.” Bette admits.
“Never do that again.” Tina says in a strict voice. “I don’t want to do this alone.” She says and starts to cry.
“I promise, I’m sorry.” Bette says and put her arms around Tina. “I’m sorry.” She whispers just as Tina bend over in another pain.
“AHHHH, Bette.” She cries.
“We are going now. Sarah, could you run into the bedroom and get the blue bag by the door?” Bette says.

Now comes the real fun for our B&T, two babies at once and boys at that. Boys do get into more trouble than girls. I speak from experience.
