“Yeah.” She replies and runs in and get it.

Bette and Tina are walking slowly to the door.

“Bette, God, I can’t take it.” Tina cries. She holds on to Bette and bends over, leaning forward. “It hurts so much.” Tina continues to cry. She kneels down, still bending over. Bette sits down too. “Something doesn’t feel right Bette.” She says looking up.

“Sarah, call an ambulance.” Bette says right away.

Sarah takes out her cell phone again and calls.

“Baby, breath okay? Everything is okay.” Bette says and  holds Tina’s face in her hands.

“What if something is wrong and they” Tina starts but Bette stops her.

“Baby, stop. Nothing is going to happen. By tonight we are going to the proud mothers of two healthy babies, you hear me?” Bette says.

“I hear you.” Tina whispers through her pain.

10 minutes later the paramedics arrives.

They put Tina on the stretcher and takes her into the ambulance.

Bette also gets in.

“Sarah will you close up? Take our car and follows. And please call Shane and Alice?” Bette shouts out. Then they leaves.

Tina is crying.

“Baby, calm down, everything will be okay. You have to calm down okay.” Bette says in a comforting and calm voice.

They arrive at the hospital 15 minutes later. Tina are wheeled into the ER, two doctors are waiting with two nurses. They wheel her into a delivery room down the hall. Bette is standing beside Tina holding her hand and stroking her hair out of her face. The two doctors are working like crazy. They give each other looks, they listen for heartbeats of the baby. Tina is still crying, but Bette sees the look between the doctors.

“Doc?” She says and looks at him. “What is going on?” She asks.

“We need to make an emergency C-section.” He replies.

“What?”  Bette says turning really concerned.

“The babies seems to be stuck, and the heart rate is going down.” The Doctor says.

He says something to the other doctor and they starts to wheel her out.

“Bette?” Tina says reaching for Bette’s hand.

“I’m here baby.” Bette says and follows. “Can I come in with her?” She asks the doctor.

“Yes, keep up.” He says as the rush down to the OR 3. Bette follows quickly.
