    Shane comes for a visit and brings some stuff from home.

    Bette said “Wow, Tina. I am impressed. You are super organized and given the circumstances you have taken care of a lot in the last two days. I am amazed. And I am lucky to have you”.

    Tina said “I have a feeling there are a lot of pieces of me that you have never seen Bette Porter”.

    Bette said “I look forward to them baby”.

    Just then, Shane walked through the door with a big box. Tina jumped up and over toward the door to help Shane out.

    Tina said “No Molly?”

    Shane said “Well Hi Tina, so happy to see you too!”

    Tina hugged Shane tightly and said “You know I am happy to see you. I am just surprised that you are away from Molly, that is all”.

    Shane said “Well, under the circumstances, I wanted Bette to be comfortable and I wasn’t sure if she would be if I brought Molly. I know this is like this whirlwind terrible thing that happened to you. To both of you and I just want to make sure that everyone is settling in. I want to be helpful, not complicated”.

    Bette said “Hi Shane!”

    Shane said “Bette…look at you. You are looking better my friend. How are you feeling? I won’t stay long. I know you need to rest and I don’t want to interrupt anything. I just wanted to lay eyes on you and know that you are ok and bring this stuff over to try t help you feel beter”.

    Bette said “Shane, thank you so much for taking care of Tina and looking out for her. I know that you neutralized some pretty tense situations with Jodie and I know that you are friends with her as well. I am not asking you to get in the middle or take my side, but thank you for prioritizing Tina. I know that you were taken back by all this news and like the good friend that you always are, you jumped right in to save the day”.

    Shane said “Listen Bette I am not one to judge and I love you and Tina dearly, you know that. You guys are like the parents I never had. Jodie and I have become friendly and I will be there to listen and support her as well, but there are no sides to friendship. Don’t worry about any of this. It is complicated crap that in the end doesn’t really matter when you decided to take on a car my friend. Seriously, you worry about healing yourself and getting better and time and tenderness will heal the rest. Jodie will be ok Bette”.

    1. Sorry to hear you are still sick. Thank you for continuing to write – i know when i was sick my brain felt foggy. Another wonderful chapter – I love this Tina. She is so strong for the both of them and is saying all the right things. I hope you feel better.

    6. Sorry to hear you’re still under the weather. Hope you get to feeling much better soon! Thank you for updating the story eventhough you’re under the weather. Bette is so insecure right now, but it is so exciting to see how alpha Tina is right now. She’s the rock that Bette will need during the coming weeks of recovery. I predict Bette will lash out at every therapist they will have working with her, but it will be Tina who stands up to Bette and challenges her during her therapy. So realistic was Shane’s reaction to Bette’s appearance. Patiently waiting for the next update. Thanks again!!!

    8. So glad that Bette gets to see the real Tina. Tina is Bette roch always has been and Nette was to busy in her life to realize it. Shane is such a friend, they are few a far between. Hope you feel better soon. that stuff is hard to get rid of. thanks
