After Bette fell asleep Tina carefully crawled out of bed and made her way over the box of stuff that arrived. First Tina found some frames that were bubble wrapped very carefully to make the journey through the mail and unwrapped them. She strategically placed first a family photo, then a photo of just herself and then a photo of Angie on the makeshift nightstand by Bette’s bed. Then she unpacked Bette’s laptop and plugged it in to charge so that she could use it when she was ready to keep in touch with whoever she wanted to from back home. As Tina was digging through the box, she pulled out a navy blue bandana and smiled to herself as she slipped it into her pocket. Tina then began to set up her own computer at the table in the room to create a small office for her to work while staying at the hospital. Once her computer was set up and she was checking her email and going over script edits, she heard Bette begin to wake up.
Tina said “Hey baby, how do you feel?”
Bette said “I would feel better if you were still next to me”. Bette said this with a pout.
Tina said “Babe. I am four feet away”.
Bette said in a whiney voice “that is too far!”
Tina said “It is going to take some getting used to this new needy Bette Porter”.
Bette pouted and said “I see you have started unpacking a bit and got your computer all set up. Are you working?”
Tina said “Yeah, I got connected to the internet using my card and everything is set up. I already answered email and am editing a script now that I will send back for review by tonight”.
Bette said “And Aaron really is going to be able to handle this and be ok?”
Tina said “Bette you let me handle my work and don’t worry about it. I don’t want you to be thinking about my work. It is bad enough that I am thinking about it. So, more importantly, how do you feel?”
Bette said “I don’t feel so great. I am sore and my leg really hurts. And I am really bored just sitting here. I hate that I feel like shit. I hate that I look like shit. I hate that I can’t do anything for myself.”

That was funny and at least it helped raise Bette’s spirits. At this point what makes Bette smile and feel good is okay with me, Shane will survive.

That was freakin’ hilarious! If I were Shane I would have just stood there and watched..quietly. ; ) Voyerism at it’s best.
People have been caught in far worse situations. Several times women were caught in a full makeout session. The nurse closed the door and put a knock before entering sign on the door. lol. At least Bette now feels much better about herself even if Tina is mortified. Hopefully they will get to complete their session, please. Too funny. Praise God it wasn’t big mouth Alice. nice update…haha shanes funny i think we need more shane moments take our minds off how serious Bette’s health is. funny chapter the bandana well it doesnt ave the same affect on me well actually never thought about it.
