    Author Notes:

    Bette and Tina talk about their relationship and Shane comes for lunch.

    Bette said “Tina, it is gross. Here we new to each other again. Newly dating. Before this happened we could barely keep our hands off each other. You look so good. So sexy. And look at me…”

    Bette started crying. Tina moved quickly over to the bed and held her hand.

    Tina said “ Bette please. You are breaking my heart. I love you no matter what. I still can’t keep my hands off of you. Nothing is changed. Nothing is different for me. This is a setback Bette and we are lucky that you have a second chance at life and that we have second chance with each other. Bette. Look at me. Baby I love you so much”.

    Bette said “Tina?’

    Tina said “Yes, baby?”

    Bette said “Will you ever find me attractive again? Will you ever want to have sex with me? Will you always remember this and all this gross stuff?”

    Tina said “Bette! I find you attractive right now. Come one, you have a gown that is open in the back ( Tina wiggles her eyebrows ). Bette this is not gross. It is part of life. It comes with the commitment of in sickness and in health. And I can’t wait until we can have sex together and be with one another again. I very much look forward to it”.

    Bette said “If you didn’t have to deal with this, you could be with someone else and having sex right now. Every day. Sam maybe?”

    Tina said “Bette, please don’t go there”.

    Bette said “I am so lost Tina”.

    Tina said “I know you are baby. And I know this is very hard for you. We will work through it together. I promise.  And guess what? I have something for you that is going to make you feel really sexy”.

    Bette looked skeptical and said “What?”

    Tina pulled the navy blue bandana out of her pocket and twirled it around.

    Tina said “Can I put it on you?”

    Bette said “Yes”.

    Tina folded it carefully and put it on Bette’s head and tied it in the back. Tina was surprised but it made Bette look very artsy and organic and sexy. She was staring at Bette.

    10. That was funny and at least it helped raise Bette’s spirits. At this point what makes Bette smile and feel good is okay with me, Shane will survive.

    14. People have been caught in far worse situations. Several times women were caught in a full makeout session. The nurse closed the door and put a knock before entering sign on the door. lol. At least Bette now feels much better about herself even if Tina is mortified. Hopefully they will get to complete their session, please. Too funny. Praise God it wasn’t big mouth Alice.
