Having completed their shopping list for the following day. Angie started on her desk, while Tina packed some boxes to go to LA. They quickly went through the house to see how things looked.  The doorman came and removed the balance of the charity boxes leaving on the items purchased the day before. She talked them into carrying out the garbage as well and tipped them for doing so. Angie’s room was almost cleaned out. There was the desk and the items in the closet going to New Haven, the boxes going to LA, the furniture and bed which still was made. Angie’s room was almost ready to be moved to Los Angeles.

Tina:  We might could squeeze in a one-hour nap if you would like or we can just take a leisurely bath and start to get ready for our guest.

Angie:  I think I’ll go for the nap and shower afterwards.

Tina:  Well, I’m going to my room.  Come downstairs when you are ready. They should be here at 4:00.

Tina then got her call from Bette… she was told her about Daniel success and the length of the drive from Malibu to UCLA. This was concerning to Tina. Something had to be done about this.

Tina decided to have a short nap. She was tired and she wanted to be attentive when her guest arrived.

The next thing Tina knew, her alarm was ringing. She quickly got up and made the bed. She then selected the clothes she would wear for the evening and then went and showered and readied herself for her guest.  She went downstairs and went to see if there was any wine available to serve her guest. She found a couple of bottles of white and a couple of bottles of red which would be suitable. She went around and put some lights on low and lit a few candles. She got out some wine glasses and she was ready.  Angie came down in another lovely spring dress. After all it was summer time and outside it was warm.

Tina:  Oh, Angie, you look so nice. That dress is beautiful on you.

Angie:  Thanks Mom.

Tina:  Would you like to go sit in the living room while we wait?
