    Marilyn:  Well, that is still fine with me. Is Whit going to handle this transaction?

    Helena:  Yes, I will get with him tomorrow and we will send Bette and Tina a letter of intent. It will include all the things we agreed to. And we will get an inspector in to check for any flaws which may need to be addressed. Maybe we can close when Bette and Tina are here the last week in August.

    Dylan:  Yes, and we have to get an appraiser in as well.

    Tina:  I will make arrangements with the doorman to get people in when we are not here. And Marilyn, if you want to visit while we are not in town, we will arrange for you to be admitted as well.

    Helena: Well, I want to purpose a toast.  To Marilyn: May you have a wonderful life in your soon to be new home. To Marilyn!

    Everyone:  To Marilyn!

    Dylan:  We need to get started to dinner if we are going to be on time.

    Helena whipped out her phone and called for the car.

    Helena: Ladies, the car will be here in ten minutes. So, if anyone needs to go the powder room or get a wrap, now is the time to do so.

    Tina:  If you will excuse me, I’ll be right back.

    Tina went to her bathroom. Angie went to the bathroom in the utility room and Marilyn went to the powder room. Helena and Dylan waited until Marilyn returned.

    While in the bathroom. Tina sent a text to Bette.

    Text to Bette:   Marilyn said yes, wants the apt.  T xxx

    She then touched up her makeup, grabbed her jacket and purse and headed out to the living room. Everyone seemed ready to go. Angie had her purse and had chosen not to get a wrap.

    The doorman rang Tina and said the car was waiting.  The group of five, went out the door.  Marilyn put her arm around Angie and walked with her out into the hall to waiting for the elevator.

    2. Thank you… another chapter coming soon.. Couple of days…

      As to the growth? I always imagined that as time passed, Bette and Tina would grow more in tuned with each other. They would grow to accept the other for who they were and their idiosyncrasies would become less bothersome for that is what defines them. As they become more knowledgeable of their mate, and more accepting of who they are, the more at peace they would become with themselves and the life they had chosen.
