Daniel:  I can help with that. Angie and Kit have taught me some about laundry.

Bette smiled:  Oh yeah, that’s right. Well, get what you have down after dinner so we can start. Maybe a load of towels and then some of our other clothes before we go to bed. I’m still waiting to hear from Jeanette as to where to meet her in the morning.

Daniel:  I really like Jeanette. When she and Paris get married, we will have another musician in the family.

Bette:  Well, I consider Jeanette family already. Paris has selected her to be her partner and as far as I’m concerned, she’s family.

Daniel:  Well, I like her. She’s just so cool.

Bette: We need to get the garbage out tonight. I think the pickup is tomorrow. We should make sure they get all we have.

Daniel:  I’ll go get what I’ve got and what’s in your room and Angie’s room and get it out. Oh, I’ll check Angie’s room for dirty clothes too.  She may have some dirty towels and some dirty clothes as well.

Bette:  Thank you Daniel, that would be helpful. We will put clean sheets on all the beds on Thursday. And then get the beds freshened up.

Daniel:  Mom, I think that I am going to need a few more clothes this fall for around home wear. Most of my clothes are getting a bit small.

Bette:  Well, either your mom or I will take you shopping the first of next week. Tomorrow, we need to plan a party for Angie for Monday evening. Then we need to get it approved by your Mama. So be thinking about what we should do.  She officially becomes an adult you know, so it needs to be special. But we will have the big celebration at the end of August. We might need to have it at Helena and Dylan’s house.

Daniel:  Mom, let’s just enjoy our dinner and relax a few minutes.  I promise, we will get it all done.

Bette:  I know sweetie. There is just so little time and so much to do. Normally I would be discussing this with your mom. Friday cannot get here soon enough.

Daniel: Well, we got two more days and then it will be Friday.
