    Twist on B&T relationship: More L-Word characters are introduced

     

     

    Dean laughed. “That sounds reasonable I didn’t expect you to go cold turkey.” They walked into their room as the bell rang.

     

     

    Claire met a few people while she was sitting in the lounge most of them were freshmen, they were in a new school and a little nervous something she could relate to. But a few of them knew each other so she kind of felt like the odd girl out. She talked to a few people in homeroom a few of them seemed really nice. There was one girl in particular that she really liked. She walked into Claire’s French class a little late but that seemed like a common occurrence because the teacher just waved her by and told her to take her seat.

     

     

    She looked around the class and sat in the chair next to Claire. While the teacher was taking roll the girl with the short blond hair turned to her.

     

     

    “Hey my name’s Alice. What’s your name?”

     

     

    Claire turned to her. “I’m Claire.”

     

     

    Alice smiled. “You’re new aren’t you? I’ve never seen you before. I’d remember if I did I have a good memory I don’t always remember names but I never forget a face.”

     

     

    When it looked like she was done talking Claire answered her questions. “Yeah I just moved here with my mom.”

     

     

    “Cool where did you move from?”

     

     

    “New York.”

     

     

    “The big apple huh…I’ve been there a few times to visit my dad…so when did you move here?”

     

     

    “We flew down here on Saturday.”

     

     

    “Wow so you’re like brand new.” Alice smiled brightly. “Don’t worry you can hangout with me and my friends if you want.”

     

     

    Claire jumped at the offer. Alice was the first person to offer to hangout with her. “Yeah that’d be great thanks Alice.”

     

     

    “Don’t mention it I remember what it felt like being the new girl.”

     

     

    Claire and Alice kept on talking throughout the period. Claire was happy that she found a friend already, and Alice was really funny. They went over their class schedules and Claire was happy to see that they pretty much had all the same classes except for history and physics but Alice said that her friend Dana was in that class and that she could sit with her.

    1. We need more. Its great how you brought all our favorite characters in to play, but most of them are teenagers. Dean will definitly be the defender, and will end up with Claire, cos even though no one knows it yet they’re mother’s are destined to be together. Can’t wait for them to meet.

    5. Loved all the new (old) characters of this story. I can’t wait for Dean to meet Bette or for that matter all the gang to meet Bette. Then “drum roll” for Bette and Tina to meet.

    7. this is great….Claire seems to fit in well…..so I have a feeling that the guy Jeremy is one of those that Dean does not like huh? Can’t wait for the moms to meet. I like that you have Harrison included in the group. I always thought he was humorous. he and Alice play off each other well. great job. PPS
