“I need some peace to get on with my script. I am nearly finished the first draft – once I get that out of the way I will have some time to go shopping and sight seeing with you “
“You need to work – has Helena’s spite really messed up your career ?”
“Its lost me some jobs but its wearing off and she’s under orders from Peggy NOT to dare breath another negative word about Bette or I – Peggy values Bette’s expertise “
“Okay – can we get moving now ? “ Bette walked in wearing the jacket to her business suit and carrying her briefcase, Angie was behind her with her little ruck sack on her shoulder
“Look at you “ Shane smiled “I remember you when you were born and now here you are wearing your school uniform and looking so grown up “
Shane had grabbed Angie who was struggling to break free
“Shane “
“Its true – I changed your diapers, I helped your mom wash you – and now our little girl has got all big “
“I am not big “ Angie objected
Bette and Tina laughed – it was funny to see Angie squirming at Shane’s words and actions.
“You were so cute “
“I am not cute ! “
That was a remark too far – Angie was getting cross
“You are super cute “
“Not such a thing “ Angie objected “Can we go NOW “
Bette could barely hide her laugher at the indignation of the five year old. Tina winked at Shane
“Can you make sure that Sheba is okay before you go out ?” Bette said to Shane
“Are you not staying at home with her ?” Angie demanded
“I am going out in an hour or so “ Shane explained
“What about Sheba ?”
“Sheba will be fine “ Tina said “Would you mind feeding her Shane – just top up her black bowl and “

Thanks for the update AllyE. Great chapter. Hope that sister does not show her face anytime soon, in fact, hope those people leave the area period. Tina being with Bette for a few days will help her a lot and make her feel much more safe. Shane being with them will also help everyone feel safer, especially Tina. Congrats on reaching another milestone, that’s fantastic. Kudos.

Glad Angie is back at school with her little friends. The exchange between her and Shane was funny. Hopefully Tina fears are not warranted and her sister does not know where they live and if she does hopefully with Bette by her side, they will give he a beat down. You know all of a sudden I have a sinking feeling that Shane is going to accidently allow Tina’s sister into their lives. I will stay tune.
