    Shane and Molly navigate a new relationship.

    “Oh, um, well when I said that…”

    “Save it,” Molly interrupts. “You’re so full of sh!t, Bette. Always trying to cover your own ass. Well it won’t work this time. My mother told Shane what you said and she also told Shane what Alice thought of her, too. You guys really don’t know Shane very well at all, do you? You take her friendship for granted. She’s always been there for you and how have you repaid her? You have no respect for her at all.” Molly stands up, throws money on the bar to pay for her tab, and walks away, leaving Bette stunned.

    Molly is headed for the exit when she walks into Shane and Jenny. Shane has her arm around Jenny’s shoulders and they are laughing. “Hey,” Molly says. “Looks like you two worked everything out?”

    “Yeah, we did,” Shane says. She squeezes Jenny in close to her.

    “Good, I’m glad,” Molly replies. “Can we get out of here?” she asks Shane.

    “Yeah, if you want to. Why?”

    “I just do, okay?”

    “Okay, sure. I just want to see Helena first and congratulate her.”

    “Fine.” Molly turns to walk inside with Shane when Jenny speaks up.

    “Actually, Molly, can I speak with you for a minute?”

    Molly looks to Shane who nods her head. “I’ll be inside.” She kisses Molly on the cheek and leaves.

    “What is it Jenny?” Molly asks.

    “Look, Shane really loves you. You know?”

    “Yeah, I know.” Molly smiles.

    “No I mean it. Like really loves you. Don’t you dare break her heart.”
    “I would never. I love her too.”
    Jenny smiles, “I can tell. Shane deserves to be happy. And you are who makes her happy. I’m sorry I was such a b!tch before.”

    “It’s okay. Friends?”

    “Yeah, friends,” Jenny nods. They share an awkward hug and then head into SheBar.

    Shane and Helena are huddled in the corner when Molly and Jenny walk in. Jenny heads back to the bar and Molly strides over to Shane’s side. “Hey,” she whispers. Shane smiles and wraps her arm around Molly’s waist and pulls her close. “Congrats Helena. SheBar is rocking tonight.”

    “Thanks, Molly,” Helena says, smiling. “You know, you two make a really great couple. I’m happy for you.”

    “Thanks,” Shane says beaming. She gives Helena a quick kiss goodbye, adds a “See ya!” and pulls Molly towards the dance floor.
