They arrive at The Planet, still drunk from their late morning romp. Alice, Tasha, Bette and Tina are sitting at a table waiting for them. They walk up to the table, exchange pleasantries and sit down. They are sitting close to one another, in constant contact, and are whispering, like two teenagers. Alice and Tasha and Tina and Bette all exchange knowing looks. “Will you two cut it out? I’m trying to eat for fvck’s sake,” Alice quips. “Christ!”

Shane’s head snaps to look at Alice, while Molly just blushes. Everyone else laughs.

“Fvck you, Alice!” Shane answers back, laughing. She leans over to Molly and kisses her cheek, hoping to ease some of her embarrassment. Molly loosens up a bit and cracks a smile. They spend a few moments having small talk and Shane and Molly order their lunch.

“You guys going to SheBar tonight?” Tasha asks to the group.

“We’re not,” Bette answers for her and Tina.

“I don’t know,” replies Shane. She looks to Molly, “You wanna?”

“Not really. I have some paperwork to fill out for my enrollment at CU that I have to get in this week. But you can go,” Molly replies.

“Well, I’m not gonna go if you’re not,” Shane says. She turns to Tasha, “Count us out.”

“Why?” Molly asks Shane. “Just go. I’m not gonna be much fun anyway tonight. There’s so much I need to fill out because of my transfer.”

“Are you sure?” Shane asks.

“Positive.” She leans in and kisses Shane and Shane returns her kiss.

“Fvck! I’m still eating!” Alice yells at them, with her mouth full, waving her sandwich in the air.

They all burst out laughing at Alice and Alice just shakes her head.

“I guess I’m going to SheBar then,” Shane says to Tasha. “What time should I meet you there?”

“9ish?” Tasha suggests.

“Sounds good to me. I’ll see if Jenny wants to come.”

Alice, Tina and Bette exchange worried looks at Shane’s comment, as their food is delivered. Molly and Shane start eating.

“Are you sure that’s a good idea, Shane, knowing how Jenny feels about you?” Tina asks.

Molly looks up from her plate, swallows hard, and asks Shane, “Knowing how Jenny feels about you? What’s that supposed to mean?”
