    i wrote it 3 months ago – just read it – oh yeah – there’s some Kit in it

    The phone rang – Tina reached across and picked it up

    “Tina “

    “Hello James “

    “Have you found her ?”

    “She’s at home “

    “Is she alright – she was very strange when she came back from lunch”

    “Lunch ? – who did she go to lunch with ?”

    “Her mother “

    “Oh fuck “ Tina cursed

    “Problem ? – Tina – I didn’t even know Bette’s mom was around – do I assume that she has just turned up ?”

    “Last week – how was Bette before lunch ?”

    Damn – why the hell did I not make the reasonable assumption that her mother was at the root of whatever is bugging her ?

    “She was fine -Tina – that woman is her double “

    “I know – tell me about it “

    “What is she like ?”

    “Frighteningly like Bette “

    “God – there is another one – sorry Tina “

    Despite how angry she was Tina laughed

    “Its okay James – thanks for ringing – she’s in the garden “

    “Okay – take care “

    “You too “

    Tina put the phone down and carefully selected a pillow – she pumped it up and then punched it viciously for a few minutes. Finally she stopped, red in the face and started to get changed. Tina was beginning to fear that Bette’s mother’s appearance was going to really hurt Bette – inadvertently no doubt but still there were problems that no one had come close to confronting. Tina changed into her running gear – all the anger that had been building up was going to have to come out someway and running was the best way for her – either that or go to the gym and beat the living daylights out of a punch bag.

    She walked outside and strolled down towards Bette. The brunette was utterly lost in thought. It wasn’t until Tina sat down that Bette came out of her own world long enough to register Tina’s presence

    “Hello “ Tina said still controlling her tone

    “Hey “

    “What time is it ?” Tina asked

    Bette looked baffled by the question

    “Its half five “ Bette replied glancing at her watch “Why ?”

    “You were meeting me at 4 to buy a TV for our bedroom “

    5. At first I waited patiently for your next post, but over the last weeks I started getting restless that something had happened for you not to post anymore. You can’t believe how I have missed your posts.

    6. Kit is back in the picture. Elizabeth seems to unsettle Bette…….. I am beginning to have my concerns. I hope Big Bette doesn’t hurt little Bette, or Tina will be ripping Big Bette a new ASS. Great update. I have missed you and your stories. Please don’t go away for so long.

    11. Finally! It was time for Tee to meet Kit. Can’t believe it took you 88 chapters LOL. This woman keeps showing up with new info.. I can understand why Bette feels dizzy and ready to run away from her. Thanks for the updates, and again.. don’t take to much to post :D. (Hey mate, where are the L wings you promised?)

    13. “Hell’s teeth”? Don’t think I ever heard that one before. So Elizabeth is going too fast (how dare she invite Bette and Tina over to meet the rest of the family!), yet new revelations from her are greated with the suspicion that she’s hiding things. I got to say Bette is striking me as a touch paranoid in this (Tina too, after getting all huffy about not being met for the shopping excursion). There’s nothing wrong with Bette talking to Kit, but she really needs to go to the source for her information, namely Elizabeth. And then Melving, that old dick.

    25. It SOOOOOOOOOOO NICE to see that you are back. I can’t and can believe you ended the chapter like that (Drama Queen). I can’t believe B&T have not thought about a D&A test. It would be soooooo easy to get a sample of Elizabeth, being a coffee snob just get it from her cup. It’s GREAT to see Kit in this story. PPS:o).

    26. Hey Ally, Back agian to share the wonder or your writing. Thanks you for returning with your inimitable style and flair for fiction. Bette has been through so much in this drama as her mother returns. This has forced Bette to face so many of her fears; betrayal, abandonment, self-worth. It was good to find out that Tina was so mad yet as soon as she saw her lover, Tina’s tenderness took hold and she comforted her partner. Now meeting Kit is a major step forward in unifying this relationship. Still am impatient to read more so please post soon. Complete gratitude from Your Loyal Fan.
