    i wrote it 3 months ago – just read it – oh yeah – there’s some Kit in it

    Bette looked at Tina searching for what her partner was talking about. She gazed at her for several minutes

    “Was I ?”

    “Yes – Bette you couldn’t ring me or text me ?”

    “Oh God “ suddenly the penny dropped

    “I know you have a lot on your mind”

    “Oh God – damn it “

    “I was close to killing you “ Tina said lightly

    “Oh fuck – I am sorry Tina – It just went out of my head “

    “I think I might have to buy you an organiser and probably input all the information for you.”

    “I am sorry babe”

    Tina could see that Bette was lost in her own head – there was nothing selfish about not turning up to meet Tina -she had just been so deep in her own thoughts.

    “Want to tell me what’s wrong ?”

    “I think its all too much for me “

    “Your mom ?”

    Bette nodded “I don’t think I can handle it. Apparently she has an adopted son “

    “What ! “

    “They adopted him when he was 9 and he is now at college “

    “What else is she keeping from you ?”

    Bette let out a breath of air and smiled for the first time

    “Thank you “

    “What for ?”

    “Because there are times when I don’t even have to tell you what I am thinking – I was wondering what else she has up her sleeve. She is going too fast for me Tina”

    “Talk to me “

    Tina rested her hand on Bette’s – she was aware that she was still wound up but her anger at Bette had died – she could see how this was hurting her and that upset Tina.

    “I don’t know – its all so surreal in a way “

    “It is in how like you she is. That has thrown me and it’s a million times worse for you “

    “Its just weird and I still am not used to the fact that not only do I still have a mother but she is around and has this trust fund and my father has lied to me for so long. I don’t know how to deal with it “

    “What happened today that set you off – was it this thing about her having a son ?”

    6. Kit is back in the picture. Elizabeth seems to unsettle Bette…….. I am beginning to have my concerns. I hope Big Bette doesn’t hurt little Bette, or Tina will be ripping Big Bette a new ASS. Great update. I have missed you and your stories. Please don’t go away for so long.

    11. Finally! It was time for Tee to meet Kit. Can’t believe it took you 88 chapters LOL. This woman keeps showing up with new info.. I can understand why Bette feels dizzy and ready to run away from her. Thanks for the updates, and again.. don’t take to much to post :D. (Hey mate, where are the L wings you promised?)

    13. “Hell’s teeth”? Don’t think I ever heard that one before. So Elizabeth is going too fast (how dare she invite Bette and Tina over to meet the rest of the family!), yet new revelations from her are greated with the suspicion that she’s hiding things. I got to say Bette is striking me as a touch paranoid in this (Tina too, after getting all huffy about not being met for the shopping excursion). There’s nothing wrong with Bette talking to Kit, but she really needs to go to the source for her information, namely Elizabeth. And then Melving, that old dick.

    25. It SOOOOOOOOOOO NICE to see that you are back. I can’t and can believe you ended the chapter like that (Drama Queen). I can’t believe B&T have not thought about a D&A test. It would be soooooo easy to get a sample of Elizabeth, being a coffee snob just get it from her cup. It’s GREAT to see Kit in this story. PPS:o).

    26. Hey Ally, Back agian to share the wonder or your writing. Thanks you for returning with your inimitable style and flair for fiction. Bette has been through so much in this drama as her mother returns. This has forced Bette to face so many of her fears; betrayal, abandonment, self-worth. It was good to find out that Tina was so mad yet as soon as she saw her lover, Tina’s tenderness took hold and she comforted her partner. Now meeting Kit is a major step forward in unifying this relationship. Still am impatient to read more so please post soon. Complete gratitude from Your Loyal Fan.
