    i wrote it 3 months ago – just read it – oh yeah – there’s some Kit in it

    “Yes – I realised how little I know about her. It sounds crazy but what if she isn’t my mom ? What if she is this crazy woman who knows enough to get me to let her into my life”

    That thought had occurred to Tina – she just hadn’t dare voice it to Bette.

    “Its not unreasonable to ask for more proof. Have you thought that there are two people who can verify who she is ?”

    Bette looked at Tina and shrugged

    “My father – I am not ready to talk to him “

    “What about Kit ?”

    “Kit – God – of course – she must have known what was happening – she would have been what – eh 12-13 when my mom walked out”

    “Who did Kit live with ?”

    “Her mom – dad was divorced. I remember her mom as being kind to me. But there was always a very firm line drawn in the sand – I was not her daughter and I was only tolerated because I was Kit’s half sister “

    “I never did meet Kit “

    “I know – I think she is sober at the moment. I think I might give her a ring.”

    “She might help you come to terms with it – she will have a perspective on it “

    Bette smiled at Tina and kissed her on the lips

    “I am sorry that I missed our appointment “

    Tina shrugged “I was fit to tear your head off but you have escaped that – I know you have a reason “

    “I am sorry – I will make it up to you “

    Tina raised an eyebrow “ The way you did on Sunday ?”

    “If necessary “ Bette grinned and pulled Tina into an embrace “ God I love you Kennard “

    “I like you showing me better “ Tina kissed Bette and they pulled one another close so they could hug. Tina was worried that this was going to start getting Bette down. She was prone to introspection and this was big – Tina could hardly blame Bette for being deep in thought about what was happening.

    “I am going for a run – will you be okay ?”

    6. Kit is back in the picture. Elizabeth seems to unsettle Bette…….. I am beginning to have my concerns. I hope Big Bette doesn’t hurt little Bette, or Tina will be ripping Big Bette a new ASS. Great update. I have missed you and your stories. Please don’t go away for so long.

    11. Finally! It was time for Tee to meet Kit. Can’t believe it took you 88 chapters LOL. This woman keeps showing up with new info.. I can understand why Bette feels dizzy and ready to run away from her. Thanks for the updates, and again.. don’t take to much to post :D. (Hey mate, where are the L wings you promised?)

    13. “Hell’s teeth”? Don’t think I ever heard that one before. So Elizabeth is going too fast (how dare she invite Bette and Tina over to meet the rest of the family!), yet new revelations from her are greated with the suspicion that she’s hiding things. I got to say Bette is striking me as a touch paranoid in this (Tina too, after getting all huffy about not being met for the shopping excursion). There’s nothing wrong with Bette talking to Kit, but she really needs to go to the source for her information, namely Elizabeth. And then Melving, that old dick.

    25. It SOOOOOOOOOOO NICE to see that you are back. I can’t and can believe you ended the chapter like that (Drama Queen). I can’t believe B&T have not thought about a D&A test. It would be soooooo easy to get a sample of Elizabeth, being a coffee snob just get it from her cup. It’s GREAT to see Kit in this story. PPS:o).

    26. Hey Ally, Back agian to share the wonder or your writing. Thanks you for returning with your inimitable style and flair for fiction. Bette has been through so much in this drama as her mother returns. This has forced Bette to face so many of her fears; betrayal, abandonment, self-worth. It was good to find out that Tina was so mad yet as soon as she saw her lover, Tina’s tenderness took hold and she comforted her partner. Now meeting Kit is a major step forward in unifying this relationship. Still am impatient to read more so please post soon. Complete gratitude from Your Loyal Fan.
