The Greatest Love Story Ever Told
LA 2029
“I’ll just take this call in the hologram room” Bette leaves the photograph album with Tina, Al and the little ones.
Al leans towards little Alice and whispers
“Say Helena is a stuck up snob”
“Helena is a stuck up…” Alice repeats
“Alice don’t listen to your not so great aunt Al” Tina interrupts with a smile on her face. “ If Bette catches you Al you’ll be back in that pool head first…”
“That would so get right on my……” Al notices little Alice and Shane’s expectant looks and quickly rethinks her next words. Doesn’t that bother you….if Dana went in another room to talk to another woman I wouldn’t be happy”
Tina smiles “Al it’s Helena… and besides I would trust Bette in a room full of naked lap dancers”
“What’s a lap dancer” Shane asks innocently
“Rather you than me Tina but remember honesty is the best policy when dealing with young children” Al said full of amusement.
Tina scowls at Al then softens as she turns to Shane
“A lap dancer is a lady who dances on your lap sweetie”
Shane not being the inquisitive type seemed appeased by Tina’s explanation however Alice’s mental image of a lady trying to dance on your lap only raised her curiosity.
“Why doesn’t she fall off Nana T”
“Yeah Nana T why doesn’t she fall off” Al pats her lap “There really isn’t a lot of room on here…well unless you have thighs like Helena”
“Ok kids who wants to know why she doesn’t fall off and who wants to throw Aunt Al back in the pool” Tina says excitedly in an attempt to muster up enthusiasm for the latter
“In the pool” The kids scream
“NO” Al leaps off the sofa and runs around the room with Shane and Alice in hot pursuit. Tina folds her arms and laughs glad she had dodged having to explain. Her laughter increased when Al ran straight into Bette as she returned from the hologram room.
“Bloody hell woman…..” said Bette none too pleased.
“Language….” Al unwisely advised bringing attention to the children’s presence in the hope it would halt any further punishment verbal or otherwise.
“Everything ok babe” Tina interjected noting Bette’s irritation.

Well, it was a dynamite update ;) lol. Great as usual. lol@BB. Hope Skimmer Jr. the First feels better. Oh, and that he at least managed to get out of exams.
It’s been a long time coming :) Thanks for the new chapter.
Skimmy…sorry to hear of your son’s accident, but despite it all thsi was a wonderful chapter…I wasn’t bored at all. In fact I was sooo not bored that I’d like some more, so when you get a chance do you think you can squeak out another one???
By the way, a really good story isn’t just about the end, it’s the journey that is the most interesting. That’s why people are sad when a good story ends.
I’m happy that I may read this story. :o) Thanks, how you write it.
Hey Skimmer!!! Glad to see u updated, was wondering where you were at these days. Hope your son’s wrist gets better. Thanks again Skimmy.
its true we know the ending but the paths and choices in between are just as important. thanks
Brilliant, awesome update, Skimmer. We know they end up together but reading their journey thru the years is what’s amazing. Hope you’re son’s better. Thank you again. Love this story :)
welcome back, last nite I was missing this story. best wishes to your son. hope he mends properly. Love the story. It doesn’t matter that I know they’re together-U filling in the details of their life makes for a fun, poignant, tense etc story. I do expect by now that T and H are indeed friends. Plz write when u can.
To my favorite author and friend I just read the chptr and i did’nt think it was boring at all, and i am soo in the mood for chocolate.

I hope your son is feeling better skimmer. I enjoyed this chapter very much – the letter is such a sweet idea of Tina’s and them reading it to her parents makes it even sweeter. Thanks and please post when you can.
That was wonderful and funny. Please post more, thanks!
How could I ever be bored of this story? As toby4ever said, it’s the journey that’s so interesting, and I’m loving reading about how they got to where they are. Glad your son’s on the mend. Thanks and post more when you can. Cheers Skimmer! :)
