Paul smiled at Tina. Tina stroked Ollie’s hair in greeting
“Hia there “
“Hey T – do you know if Bette’s crew are ready ?”
“They are just coming down the path “ Paul looked out of the window to see three dark haired boys walking together. Josh pushed Dan who pushed him back – Bette who was a few steps behind them pushed both of them and told them off. Not to be ignored Zak took a handful of snow from the pile that had accumulated from where Tina had shovelled the snow away from the path. He threw the snow at Dan who blamed Josh and pushed him again. Bette gathered all three of her sons around her and gave them all a telling off.
“The boys are in trouble with their mommy “ he told everyone
“Oh goodie” Becky laughed “ Dan can be such a saint “
“Your lift is ready “ Paul said seeing Lara emerge and head for her car.
Becky picked up her bag “See you all later “
“We don’t get a kiss ?” Ollie said smiling
“I already gave you one “
“So they are running out are they ?”
“No “
“So – lets have another kiss then “
Becky looked at Tina whose face told her there would be serious trouble if she didn’t do as she was told. Becky shrugged
“Okay “
She hugged Tina and Paul before turning to her father.
“I’ll see you tonight pumpkin “
“Don’t call me that “
He pulled a face and held out his hand to Becky who surprised him by hugging him tightly and saying something in his ear. Tina saw the tears spring to her ex’s eyes as Becky released him and hurried out of the house.
“You okay ?”
“She hasn’t said that in a long time “
Tina guessed that Becky had told her father that she loved him.
“Paul – can you start getting the kids into the car ?”
“Sure – come on girls – have you got your gloves Madison ? – move yourself Hannah “

Excellent chappy! As for another post, I wouldn’t mind an update on Something So Right too!
B and T are just made for each other both planning to propose, but looks like Bette is going to beat Tina to the punch and I bet she has already found the perfect house too. Gosh I don’t know which story to vote for, I think I will be happy with any one of them as long as we get a little bit of all of them over the next 16 days.
Snow shoveling is punishment? No Ally, it’s simply what you do in order to leave the house. We had many shovels when I was a kid, the theory being that many hands make light work. Unless the snow is wet, then it weighs a ton. Which is why I live in an apartment building. But I already have my boots on. The snow started a couple of hours ago and the forecasters (hedging their bets all the while) are calling for about 9 inches by early Monday morning. Well, they agree on white gold. Too bad they weren’t thinking of the same night. I was kind of hoping for simultaneous proposals.

I vote for another chapter of this story. Great update Ally as usual. I am really enjoying this story and it’s taking place at the right time of year. So it’s a race to see who proposes to who first….B & T at their best….you just gotta love it!

I do love this story and it was a great chapter. Both of them planning to propose and it looks as though Bette will get to propose first, Christmas Eve. How fitting, proposing during the season of love, happiness and all the warmth one can endure. Just Great. As for the next post, I always want this one but whatever you choose is fine, as long as it involves Bette, Tina and love I’m okay with whichever one you choose. PPS

i got upgraded on my committment ring from my woman fri night. when i gave her her ring i was working as a valet, didnt make much money. very inexpensive rings weve been wearing. she upgraded mine to a very beautiful white gold also. it was very nice night. thanks.
