“Riley did, she said it was appropriate,” grinned Tina. Tina was now accustomed to the heavy metal beats of things besides Melissa Etheridge.
Bette turned the CD case over in her hands, first reading the name of the songs and then pulling out the liner notes, a favorite past time of hers, having always loved reading them. It had been something that she’d done a child, because Kit had always mentioned her, when possible, in her thank you’s on her records. “Tina?”
“Yeah?” asked Tina, looking over at Bette for a moment and then quickly away again, the sexy thoughtful look on Bette’s face was more than Tina could handle at the moment. A hot arousal burned inside of Tina for some reason, and she wanted desperately to tell Bette how she’d been feeling as of late.
“Jades Stars thank their moms, dads, and other inspirations, including B&T, for Aura. Music by: Sydney Doyle and Lyrics by: Spencer Wheaton, ” read Bette. Her brow creased in curiosity, thinking, what an odd way of giving a shout out to someone.
“Huh?” said Tina, grabbing the notes from Bette, seeing the B&T there, but not believing, for an instant, that it was them. “Why would we have inspired a love song?” asked Tina, with a sigh. “Must be someone that Spencer knows.”
Tina handed the papers back to Bette, their hands touching for a hot moment, and Tina swallowed away that recurring wanton flash that kept creeping up on her. Tina was starting to believe that she had to put a stop to this, she had two choices, one: ignore her feeling for Bette or two: try to find a way to begin a new relationship with Bette. Either way, nothing was clear-cut.
Bette frowned, continuing to read the notes, seeing many names she knew, many she didn’t, and said, “I miss Kit.” Tina turned and looked at Bette’s suddenly sad profile. “I realized yesterday that she would have been the first one jumping up to sing a song, the first one on the plane to go watch everyone play. I’d have loved to hear her voice on one last song; I never thought I’d have lost her.”

How could you leave it with Tina and Bette just disappearing.I hope at least they went to bed together and not to sleep.
That was beautifully done now where have our girls scampered off to, hopefully to start taking that next chance and see where it takes them.
that was great I just hope that u have at least one or two more chapters for this as I feel that there is stll a bit more to write about if so please soon if not what a great story I have love every part of it thank you so much for writing it

well, well Janet…who would have figured you for such a soft, sweet romantic?? Loved the chapter, definitely worth the wait, as always!! Had to read it twice to fully savor your brilliance. The songs were perfectly woven through the story. Love is certainly in the air… looks like a mad dash to the alter for the lovely couples. Fun to see Ro back for Alice. Also loved the appearance of alpha Tina…so hot… but can’t believe you actually left off where you did! pout…Tease! Can’t wait for the next chapter. Have a good week.

Damn, Janet. That was really good. So much going on, and Spencer’s lyrics weaving in and out amongst it all. Shane and Lara are really just… I love em. They’re cute, they’re funny, they’re sexy… It’s a winner all round. And they’ve already moved into that old wise and married stage, and like, faster than a speeding bullet! …Al & Ro! They took way longer to break up than they did to make up, but marriage? The heart wants what it wants, and they’ve got it. Good on em, I say! Bette… I wish Kit was there to see her sister making it. Seems like B & T are meant to be… but we’ll see, shall we? I’m still waiting for that sackful of pennies to drop. The optimist in me sees everything working out, though.
