How to lose a girl in ten days

"You kept calling and calling?" Tina asked

"I didn't leave a message. She didn't know it was me.
My number's blocked. I'm sure he thought it was his friends." Jenny tried to reassure herself.

"Yes, men frequently call their friends' answering machines and hang up 20 times." Dana said.

"I know why he dumped me." Jenny said, "I'm too fat!"

"You're not fat!" Tina and Dana said together as the elevator doors closed.

They were walking to the staff meeting. Tina was trying to cheer Jenny up.
"Jenny, if the most beautiful woman in the world acted the way you did, any normal woman would
    still be running away."

"Oh no, no woman would go running from you Tina.
You could barf all over her and she will say 'thank you may I have some more'" Jenny said.

"This is both incredibly disgusting and categorically untrue.
If I did the things you did, I'd get dumped, too." They entered the staff meeting.

"Good morning" Lana said." Come on everybody, shoes off, and deep breath,
and out. Okay let's start!" Lana asked Lori about her story, then came to Tina.

"Tina, how's the 'how to' going?"

"Well, I've been working on something that's kind of different. It's...It's a political piece, and it's..."

"No." Lana nixed the idea. "Tina, we are fashion, trends, diets, cosmetic surgeries, salacious gossip--
that's Composure. I know the column is new for you, when you turn it in
to a must read, that's when you can write about whatever you want." Lana concluded.

    "Jenny what about you?"

"I'm sorry Lana, I wasn't feeling very well."

    "She got dumped." Dana said.

"Oh, no, Jenny, what a hellish ordeal for you. But I must say you're looking fabulous." Lana said.

"Well I haven't eaten much since the split." Jenny mumbled.

"Good for you!" Lana encouraged. "Write about it."

"Oh, Lana I can't use my personal life for a story" Jenny said, looking scared.

"Of course not darling, I understand." Lana reassured and Jenny relaxed.
"Who wants to turn Dana's personal life for a story?" Lana asked
