I walked in and Helena was standing very close holding her hands and stroking her palms while they talked. It looked pretty intimate from my vantage point for two strangers.” “Well they aren’t exactly strangers Bette.

    “Well they aren’t exactly strangers Bette. Didn’t you tell me that Helena and Tina were working on this studio merger project together even before you met?”

    “Yes, but they were cyber buddies. Tina mentioned that they flirted quite a bit via email and phone calls. Maybe now that Helena is here in the flesh Tina might find her physically attractive. There is no denying Helena is an extremely beautiful woman and she can certainly turn on the charm.”

    “Don’t even go there baby sis. Tina adores you and yes Helena is beautiful but that’s just on the outside. You’re beautiful inside and out. It just doesn’t compare and I’m sure Tina will see right through that ‘charm’. You said yourself how aggressive Helena is. Tina was probably caught off guard. Not knowing the situation between you and Helena I’m sure Tina innocently walked into her trap.”

    “Maybe but I definitely sensed an attraction between them Kit. I’m not naïve about things like this. I don’t trust Helena.” 

    “Then even if you don’t trust Helena you have to trust Tina or you might as well end it with her right now. Save yourselves the pain and heartache before you two get any further involved. Take my advice baby sis. I know you have trust issues and a history of bad relationships with some of the women you’ve been with but don’t throw this new love away because of unfounded doubts. Take Tina to the cabin and talk to her honestly about your feelings. Give this love a chance Bette.”

    “I will.” Bette knew she was being unfair. The issue was her own insecurities that had very little to do with Tina’s actions.

    “Good.” Kit said as she gave her sister a reassuring hug. They both get up and head towards the stairs to the second floor. “I’m going to go get showered and dressed.” Kit continued talking as they climbed. “I want to get to the Planet early to meet this Angus Partridge fellow. Can you arrange a car and driver?”

      • wkm – is it too slow for Bette and Tina or are you getting impatient for things to heat up :-). I can’t promise fireworks because I don’t really get into writing NC17’s but they will break a sweat soon.

      • azmama – the weekend will definitely provoke opportunity for action …

        You made a comment early in this story (chapter 11) where you said “In order for this Bette and Tina coupling to work, Tina has to modify her life plans. At this point, she is physically attracted to Bette but nothing has occurred so right now it all seems so sterile, no panting, no sweating, no carnal desires have been revealed. Seems too much like an arrangement, all very platonic and business like. Looking forward to the next chapter”.

        I responded that I thought their behavior was appropriate for the stage of their relationship at the time which was platonic friends but I also said that if you stuck with me I would address the supposed ‘lack of passion’. We’re almost there and they will have that conversation during the cabin weekend but there will also be ‘action’ to support it. I’m not an NC17 author and I don’t feel the need for graphic detail when the sex is implied but I hope you will see my point of view in having them take it very slowly – the main reason is they are not ready for sex for the sake of sex.

    4. Hey bat, did you have a change of heart about Helena? I am not expecting an answer as I know you never give anything away about your stories, but it was just too tempting reading that Winnie and Helena are going to the Planet together and about their interaction during the baby shower. Glad Bette and Tina are going to take some time out to just be together without any distraction. They really need to discuss how they are going to proceed with everything that is happening and what they expect from the other. Thank you so much for taking the time to re-post this intriguing story.

      • Hey as1219 – Thanks for commenting. No I won’t give anything away but as is my usual style in writing these stories you can expect me to introduce a lot of different directions in the storyline as I set up future chapters. I try not to be too predictable or redundant so hopefully I will keep the interest of the readers since I don’t do NC17’s – :-).

        I did some heavy editing in this chapter (25/25a) and the next (25b) from when I originally wrote this story. I actually softened Bette’s character a little because she was sounding like a commando but I didn’t change Helena. You were very observant to pick up on the Helena/Winnie match-up because if Helena does change for the better Winnie has something to do with it.

      Bette and Tina you take relationship, I confess
      I’m a fan nc 17 this is true, however
      I never fail to enjoy a great history as
      this, just because they do not have a Nc: 17.
      I love this charm that this discovery is
      Bette and Tina, I love those moments of conversation
      they have with small moments of snogging,
      you write without elaborating.
      10 Stars.
      Note: My reading is delayed with many history
      and am trying to upgrade it
      December is Christmas and New Year, and the
      Bethlehem Airport becomes a boiler of people
      coming and going
