    “Sure. We have a service on call.” When they got to the landing Bette pulled her cell phone from the pocket of her shorts and speed dialed the number. She quickly made the reservation and hung up. “They’ll have a car here at 8:00pm. How’s that?” “Sounds good. Thanks.” Kit said as she glanced at

    “Sure. We have a service on call.” When they got to the landing Bette pulled her cell phone from the pocket of her shorts and speed dialed the number. She quickly made the reservation and hung up. “They’ll have a car here at 8:00pm. How’s that?”

    “Sounds good. Thanks.” Kit said as she glanced at her watch. She had about an hour to get ready.

    “Thanks for the sisterly advice Kit. I’m so glad you’re here.” Bette reached for Kit’s hands and rubbed her palms against her cheek.

    “Me too baby sis. I’m always here for you whenever you need to talk.” Over the years Kit had become Bette’s touchstone. Her younger sister had the tendency to allow her emotions to take over her senses. Kit had a way of grounding her without it seeming intrusive.

    “Thanks. Have a good time this evening. Text me and let me know what you think of Angus.”

    “Baby girl you know I don’t go for no texting or tweeting or selfies and all that techno shit. If there is anything to tell I’ll say it in person when I see you. People just don’t talk anymore.”

    Bette laughed at her older sister’s resistance to adopting the new technology. The only reason Kit even owned a cell phone was for emergencies and she insisted on voice calls only; no texting or emails.

    “Fine, but don’t forget we’re having Sunday brunch at the Planet tomorrow. Be ready to leave by 11am if you want to join us.”

    “We’ll see how it goes tonight. I might have other plans if this Angus fellow is as “hot” as you say he is.”

    “I never said he was hot Kit. Talented yes but ‘hot’… I wouldn’t go that far.”

    “Well you let me be the judge of that.” Kit smirked as she kissed her sister on the cheek. “Love you baby sis.”

    “Love you too Kit. Be careful.”

    “Always am. Good night.” Kit sauntered towards her bedroom giving Bette a back handed wave.

    When Bette entered the darkened media room she found Sam and Tina sitting at the computer viewing the screen as pictures and videos of the afternoon’s events flashed by. They were both wearing headsets as Sam was downloading the audio tracks to be matched up with the video and still shots.

      • wkm – is it too slow for Bette and Tina or are you getting impatient for things to heat up :-). I can’t promise fireworks because I don’t really get into writing NC17’s but they will break a sweat soon.

      • azmama – the weekend will definitely provoke opportunity for action …

        You made a comment early in this story (chapter 11) where you said “In order for this Bette and Tina coupling to work, Tina has to modify her life plans. At this point, she is physically attracted to Bette but nothing has occurred so right now it all seems so sterile, no panting, no sweating, no carnal desires have been revealed. Seems too much like an arrangement, all very platonic and business like. Looking forward to the next chapter”.

        I responded that I thought their behavior was appropriate for the stage of their relationship at the time which was platonic friends but I also said that if you stuck with me I would address the supposed ‘lack of passion’. We’re almost there and they will have that conversation during the cabin weekend but there will also be ‘action’ to support it. I’m not an NC17 author and I don’t feel the need for graphic detail when the sex is implied but I hope you will see my point of view in having them take it very slowly – the main reason is they are not ready for sex for the sake of sex.

    4. Hey bat, did you have a change of heart about Helena? I am not expecting an answer as I know you never give anything away about your stories, but it was just too tempting reading that Winnie and Helena are going to the Planet together and about their interaction during the baby shower. Glad Bette and Tina are going to take some time out to just be together without any distraction. They really need to discuss how they are going to proceed with everything that is happening and what they expect from the other. Thank you so much for taking the time to re-post this intriguing story.

      • Hey as1219 – Thanks for commenting. No I won’t give anything away but as is my usual style in writing these stories you can expect me to introduce a lot of different directions in the storyline as I set up future chapters. I try not to be too predictable or redundant so hopefully I will keep the interest of the readers since I don’t do NC17’s – :-).

        I did some heavy editing in this chapter (25/25a) and the next (25b) from when I originally wrote this story. I actually softened Bette’s character a little because she was sounding like a commando but I didn’t change Helena. You were very observant to pick up on the Helena/Winnie match-up because if Helena does change for the better Winnie has something to do with it.

      Bette and Tina you take relationship, I confess
      I’m a fan nc 17 this is true, however
      I never fail to enjoy a great history as
      this, just because they do not have a Nc: 17.
      I love this charm that this discovery is
      Bette and Tina, I love those moments of conversation
      they have with small moments of snogging,
      you write without elaborating.

      Note: My reading is delayed with many history
      and am trying to upgrade it
      December is Christmas and New Year, and the
      Bethlehem Airport becomes a boiler of people
      coming and going
