The only thing I could do was stand there and look… Look at the curves of her body as she even made limping look gracefull…
*Her leg seems a little better*
She collapsed on the couch which took my view off her marvelous body… But now my eyes seemed drawn to her face… I saw the mumbling movement of her full lips and felt a desire wash over me Id never felt before… The urge to just run in there and press my lips on hers seemed unbearable…
*Maybe being here isn’t such a good idea after all…*
‘Excuse me… Ma’am?’
The man… Well more like boy… behind me startled me and my jump almost caused the pizzabox to fall out of his hands. We both reached out and (luckily) saved it…
‘Are you Mizz Porter?’
‘No… No I’m not… But she lives here allright…’
*What a stupid remark was that anyway… Like he didn’t know Bette lived here… Why else would he stand there with the food?*
Suddenly getting an idea, I took out my wallet.
‘I’ll take it for you… How much is it?’
After a short hesitation the boy handed me the pizza and took my money before he left, shaking his head…
*Ok… Now you have to ring that doorbell alright… She’s waiting for her food… Come on Tina… You can do it…*
Ding Dong
*I did it…*
My stomach fel like it was in knots and I was still trembling but I’d done it…
Bette:
On my way over to the door to let the pizzaboy in, my (injured… Of course… Isn’t that murphy’s law or something?) knee bumped against the small cabinet I’d recently placed in the hallway and I couldnt help the shout of pain to escape from my mouth. I reached for the doorknob and turned my back on the pizzadeliverer in order to get some money and to hide the tear that was rolling down my cheek caused by the sudden agony of my knee.
‘Bette… Are you ok?’
I’d recognize that voice out of a million others… But it couldn’t be… I mean, why in the name of god would she deliver my pizza…

OMG we got a chapter this weekend! WEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I wonder if Bette was singing off-key with the radio? If she was and I had been in Tina’s place watching her through the window, I would’ve probably rolled on the ground laughing my butt off. lol
As an addict, I’m needing a larger fix and 2 a day…see this is what you have made me into…desperate for this beautiful story you are writing. They are exactly as I would love them, pls don’t skip a thing however long it takes, tks!!!

This slow bringing together of Bette and Tina is wonderfully agonizing. The way you tell this story is brilliant. I just love it–have I mentioned that lately. Post soon please!
I hoppe that YOUR knee is okay. Did you have to put a needle in and drain it? Bette singing to this song and thinking as she did was funny and sad at the same time. It took a lot of courage for Tina to make it to Bette’s house and actually ring the door bell. Bette must be in heaven to be holding her sleeping beauty in her arms. I know that I would be. Great chapter.
