*Ok, Porter… Don’t be stupid, she probably just came by*
I turned around…
‘T?’
She had the pizza in her hands and approached me with a concerned look in her eyes… I had allready forgotten the pain… It came back instantly as I reminded bumping in to the cabinet. The tears popped into my eyes again… Were they tears of emotions or of pain?
She placed the pizza on the cabinet that had caused al the problems in the first place and as I explained her what had happened she just wrapped her arms around me and took me to the couch…
I looked at her from the side… She was so beautifull… Those long blond locks that fell in front of her face, the wrinkles that appeared around her nose and on her forehead when she concentrated…
‘Thanks T… Geez am I glad you stopped by… And with pizza might I add!’
I laughed out loud… Mostly out of nervousness…
‘Yeah…’
Her voice sounded hoarse and shy
‘I just… ran into the pizzaboy…’
She was acting awkward, as if she didn’t want to look into my eyes… As if she wanted to hide the other side of her face… Her voice had been husky before but not like this and she just looked so vulnarable and defeated.
‘Hey…’
I just said that one word and was surprised at my own tenderness as I softly touched her cheek…
*She was so close*
The jolts of electricity seemed stronger every time… I thought I could anticipate on the shivers touching her caused me but that just didnt seem possible….
Al the nerves in my fingertips seemed to explode at the touch of her velvet skin and she winced as I did…
‘I’m sorry’
I withdrew my hand in a split second and she turned to me, giving me a glance at the left side of her face before she started to sob and hided her face in her hands.
The redness of her cheek had shocked me… But when she started to cry I felt really helpless…
‘I’m sorry, T’
She pressed a finger on my lips…

OMG we got a chapter this weekend! WEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I wonder if Bette was singing off-key with the radio? If she was and I had been in Tina’s place watching her through the window, I would’ve probably rolled on the ground laughing my butt off. lol
As an addict, I’m needing a larger fix and 2 a day…see this is what you have made me into…desperate for this beautiful story you are writing. They are exactly as I would love them, pls don’t skip a thing however long it takes, tks!!!

This slow bringing together of Bette and Tina is wonderfully agonizing. The way you tell this story is brilliant. I just love it–have I mentioned that lately. Post soon please!
I hoppe that YOUR knee is okay. Did you have to put a needle in and drain it? Bette singing to this song and thinking as she did was funny and sad at the same time. It took a lot of courage for Tina to make it to Bette’s house and actually ring the door bell. Bette must be in heaven to be holding her sleeping beauty in her arms. I know that I would be. Great chapter.
Tina shouldn’t be wasting time sleeping, she should be kissing!! Hope to see them happily together in the next chapter, maybe TODAY??? Thanks for your story.
