Laid Up: Another Season 3 – Chapter 29B

She smiled at him.  Angus was just so easygoing.  He was up for every and anything the world whirled his way.  He probably would have liked an evening with Kit alone, but he didn’t mind having Angelica there at all.

"Oh, my feet are killing me."

"You spend too much time in those sexy shoes.  You need some sensible ones.  Somewhere in West LA, with all of these lesbians roaming the streets, you can find a store selling sensible shoes."

"Have you seen Bette’s shoes or Tina’s or any of ‘em.  These lesbians are all about droppin’ the sexy.  I gotta keep up."

Angus put his cup on the tray and turned to her.  "Baby, you don’t have to keep up; those women ought to be takin’ lessons from you.  You’re the original sexy."

    Kit pouted. "Cause I’m old?"

"Nah-ah.  ‘Cause you’re original.  My hot, original, mama.  Come ‘ere, baby."

She scooted over, curled into his arms, snuggled against his broad chest.  "You smell fine, Angus."

"You do, too."  His hand moved around her, in front, to his favorite spot–her breasts.  He rubbed one through the thin cotton tunic she wore.

"Boy, you think you can just compliment me and get what you want?"

"I hope so," he said as he lifted her chin and then kissed her.  "I’ll even get you to bed early."

"I’m not sleepy, Angus.  I’m all wired about the music."

"Let me tell you this, kitten," he began.  He had started calling her kitten recently and she loved it.  It made her feel small, cute, and cuddly like a dear little thing that needed a lot of love and affection.  "You’ll be sleepy once I finish with you."  He kissed her deeply and her arms went around him as she moved up and over him, pushing Angus onto the sofa.

They were just starting to get into some sensual foreplay, moving against each other when the phone rang.  Kit looked up.  "It’s late.  Who’d be callin’ now?  Maybe it’s Bette and Tina checkin’ on Angelica.  She quickly stood and Angus sighed.  He hoped the call wouldn’t take long.

Kit picked up the phone.  "Hello?"

    1. ‘ she looked at Tina and playfully accused, “Cougar.” ‘ – LOL – Tina certainly has come a long way from the first pages of ‘Laid Up’. – PortiaO, Thank you very much for producing all those wonderful pages!

    2. OH MY FUCKING GOD… that was … i have no words… i wish it didn’t end… that a scene i pray we see in the last eppy… loved it… and what a book you have here… it took a while to read… but i did…

    3. Wow, I don’t know what to say. The detail you give to each character and storyline is breathtaking. What a beautiful imagination you have. I love your writing so much that I even wanted Helena’s and Dylan’s past life story to never end :). I’m a little bit nervous that someting will happen to Shay before Shane can take custody. Who’s the mystery man at Alice and Dana’s wedding? A long lost relative of Alice’s? Wow, Bette and Tina, effing hot. Thank you so much for the update. Don’t be gone too long :)

    4. Portia… translating “thank you” into all the known languages on this planet wouldn’t be enough at this point. I know I type it, and I certainly mean it, but it lacks… I don’t know anything else to say but that, though. So, again, thank you. You manage to get everything in there, and I don’t know why, but the “Sweatin to the 80’s” line made me giggle, a lot. You have a very visual style of writing, I’m right there with the characters. I see them, hear them perfectly. I love the way you write, I love this story. Thanks (again) for sharing with us.

    5. Yes, you’ve got me googling folks that don’t exist. You’ve created an entire world, fleshed it out and populated it with people whose lives are fully integrated into it. You’ve made TLW, “Do what it (should)do”.

    6. I have totally been floored by this story!! this last chapter totally knocked my socks off!!! I’m so glad Bette had the change of heart about mo…. this should be really interesting! PPS

    7. I miss this story. :( It’s so awesome and realistic. And it shows so much growth in the characters while staying true to them at the same time. And the storylines are just fantastic. *sigh* Yeah, I miss this story.
